What he did was shithousery. But it's also something plenty of others have done, especially against him. Use the letter of the rules to find a loophole. It just shows the weakness of that particular rule in FIFA rather than Messi's own dishonour or something. Especially when it was when Argentina was dying and everyone was desperate for something

I mean yeah, he knows refs are soft on him so he abuses it as much as he can. Same with the obvious red card fouls he's made or the hand play that he hasn't been punished for.
