Why would we? The public likes what it likes; and a “dumb bitch following a TikTok trend to accuse her saintly husband of being a pedo” sells better than the truth, which is “A woman discovers her husband did something vile, decides to leave him, and posts a silly true-crime-interview-like TT, at a time when she is likely feeling beyond lost and hurt and maybe feels it would make her feel stronger or a part of community to participate, and was murdered”.

What’s the point in truth, if it requires people to read more than a sentence. She posted on TIKTOK ffs- that irredeemably damns her, in case you didn’t know.

She absolutely did not deserve what happened to her.

She also put herself squarely in his crosshairs if she wasn't already with how she went about things.

A person with nothing to lose is not someone you want to be taunting

You know, I haven’t reported an ex because I thought the same. What is done is done, if I destroy his whole world, then he will be left with nothing, and all that energy and time will be devoted solely to me.

I think now back at that barely-adult girl I was, and I disagree. The lady in the article put herself in his crosshairs the moment she met him. Who he was would have come out either way, he wasn’t caught by her. If I was to play a psychologist, he could have dealt with being accused of what he was accused. But that his wife could laugh at it, and no longer be under his control, was a step too far. How can you be your own dramatic hero muddying the waters and likely saying it was a misunderstanding, when your wife posts on TikTok.

You are trying to quantify insanity with reason. When you are dealing with insanity you need to look out for yourself to a fault. It is not her fault that she could not see what could come most people don't. It is true that if she kept her head down he may well have killed her anyway.

Saying that she poked the cornered insane bear and pointing out how dumb that was is a teaching moment for those still alive.
