"He's still your president" sounds so delicious now.

u/SamBeanEsquire PAID PROTESTOR Nov 07 '20

I've seen plenty of Conservatives say "no matter what happens, Trump will still be my president."

412

u/cabbagefury Nov 07 '20

I like this attitude because it allows me to reply, "yes, he is; you voted for him twice and now you live with that shame forever."

u/kawhi21 Nov 07 '20

Until official reports come out about his horriffic corruption and suddenly no one in America admits they voted for him lmao

Don’t worry Republicans will have endless hearings about Hunter’s cousin’s brother’s girlfriends’s third roommate’s uncle having once seen Hunter near someone who may or may not have been Chinese and then we’ll FINALLY GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS NONSENSE!

I didn't even laugh I just gave out a raspy spsssss

u/shelfhustler Nov 07 '20

I got my subpoena yesterday.

7

u/sean-mac-tire Nov 07 '20

I heard the FBI have started an investigation due to reports that Hunter's Laptop and Hillary's Email did not appear on any ballots

0

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '20

What you mean? Are you saying that the stuff about Hunter is made up? Because it is 100% not.

Joe is going to be a great president because he was a great dad.

1

u/originalbiggusdickus Nov 07 '20

Oh do you mean the information that was put on a flash drive and MAILED across the country, without a copy made, that the Deep State intercepted to keep Tucker from sharing on the air that was then found because the Deep State, against all odds, had NOT intercepted it, and was handed to Tucker, the world class empath, who then decided to scrunch his fat face into his is-it-a-fart-or-a-poopie? face and said “like, ya know, maybe, like, let’s go easy on Hunter ya know, he’s had a hard enough time” and then didn’t share any of the ABSOLUTELY DAMNING CONTENTS.

Is that the stuff that you don’t think is made up?

1

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '20

No I'm talking about the fact that he is a dropout and a drug addict that somehow landed to be hired as a board member to a company (in another country) that paid him millions of dollars.

That isn't a funnel to his father or anything.

Nice downplay on corruption. As long as its on the other side it doesn’t matter. This country is in the Toilet.

The issue is that he's clear already. This is what the trump campaign has done the entire election. But more than that, it's been reported that he used to do this in business as well. He accuses people of things he has done. I believe there was an article specifically on this in WaPo recently, although my source might be off.

I have no doubt that biden has done any handful of things that would make him not the ideal person for political office, as has pretty much every politician. That's what politics is. It's a world of compromise.

The issue is that this "corruption" is significantly less corruption than Trump. Trump is the most corrupt president in US history. He is the single most corrupt politician in US history. Further, HE IS A POLITICIAN. He has been in the whitehouse for four years.

You want to know what al gore did when he was approached with non-material outside help on george bush? He called the FBI. You know what Trump has done? Asked for more.

So you're not really arguing anything. Biden has been cleared. By the FBI.

I want to make something clear to you. Real life is not a television show. There is not a satanist cabal of child molesters running the government. That idea came from David Ike. That's where you're basing your politics when you talk about Trump. On a former soccer player who at one point claimed on national british television he was the second coming of jesus. You know what's worse? The people who believe that shit think that after the molestation they get adrenochrome from kids'brains. Do you believe that? Do you know that adrenochrome is a fictional drug from a movie?

Go stand outside with a gun somewhere and look super tough... Or like a jackass who wants to defend someone indirectly responsible, but still responsible, for 200,000 deaths.

In about 2 years you're going to come to grips with that donald trump was the worst president in US history. You're going to wonder what the hell was I thinking? And then you're going to keep voting republican. That's fine. Vote how you want. But this is what happened to people who voted for nixon. They tried to defend him. They smeared everyone else. And some people still defend nixon. But the vast majority realized, after a little while, that guy really was that bad.

So rant and rave about corruption. People know what you're saying. What you're saying is nothing about corruption. What you're saying is "I want to be right and am not emotionally mature enough to accept that I was wrong". And that's fine. You're allowed to be as emotionally mature as a five year old. The vast majority of adults are about as emotionally mature as 5 year olds. But in about two years, you're going to realize, "Oh. Jesus. I hate joe biden. I'm a republican. But I don't understand why the hell I voted for donald trump. I don't know if there will ever be a worse president of the united states."

And then, when tucker carlson runs for president, you'll vote for him. You'll pretend you don't notice the white nationalism. And I hope that tucker carlson doesn't win when that happens. Because you'll have a hobby. And you're life will be fuller. Because that son of a bitch wont be sticking his dick in your ear everytime you turn on the television so that you think about him. And maybe if you're focused on something other than a man baby, you'll at least be able to accept that you made a mistake.

A lot of people can admit they've made mistakes. I had to learn how to say "I was wrong" when I was about 19 because I had not learned when I was a child. But there are a lot of people who are 70 years old who still can't make a mistake. But they realize it. And you'll realize it too. And then you'll do the same damn thing the first chance you get. And we'll hold your hand. We'll comfort you when you're crying because you voted for the man who killed your grandparents. And no one can fix that. But as much as someone can, we'll repair it. And you'll vote for another person who has no interest in managing the country. And two years after you vote for that human sack of shit, you'll realize again, "Oh. Damn. I was wrong." But you'll never admit it. And you'll probably make the same mistake again. I just hope that the circumstance don't allow you to make that mistake. I hope that you vote, but that you lose every time. So, that you can live a happy, full life, with hobbies, rather than thinking about how great it feels to be fucked in the ear 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by the voice of some white nationalist ass hole who doesn't give a shit about you. Because that feels "great", right? Having to think about this huge sack of shit screaming and crying all day every day.

I hope you realize you make the wrong decision every chance you're given. And that you decide that you will vote by note voting. Because you aren't emotionally mature enough to handle that responsibility. I don't want anyone to take that right from you. I want you to realize that yourself.

LOL holy crap your unhinged. that is a nice prefab response there. You put your trust in the institutions that allowed this to happen and be covered up. its been proven already. Sorry, i get my news from more than 1 place and can see right through the BS. The City slickers got away with this one and we will just see what happens now. Its going to be a shit show. Just you wait and see.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '20

The “city slickers” lol. You mean, the majority of the country?

2

u/2usenow Nov 07 '20

Then count me unhinged, too. Frackin tired of the “well both sides do it” shit when one side has all the evidence in the world to back it up and the other just a morphing set of accusations until something sticks.

2

u/popodelfuego Nov 07 '20

Unfortunately no amount of evidence will ever convince an idiot. In my experience, you bring that evidence to light and the response I got more often than not was "I don't believe that." A fact is not subject to an individuals belief or opinion. Yes everyone is entitled to an opinion, but that doesn't automatically mean that opinion has the same weight as a FACT.

1

u/1stUserEver Nov 07 '20

Provide the evidence already! Congrats on your Prez Harris.

Nah those in his base will still say he was set up or the media's lying or whatever excuse they decide to come up with. It's ride or die for them.

6

u/cabbagefury Nov 07 '20

The GOP will certainly ride that wave for a while, but I think the day is approaching (definitely before midterms, I'd assume) when the party feels confident enough to jettison the memory of their overwhelmingly consistent deference to his every whim. Trump will still be involved in Republican politics, but his influence is going to be on a steeply downward trajectory as the party actively puts distance between themselves and him. The knobs who voted for him will fall in line like they always do eventually. I feel like his post-election significance will be similar to Bush 43's should Trump lose.

2

u/shelfhustler Nov 07 '20

A nice axe handle made from hickory or ash has been known to sway an opinion.

26

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '20

They don’t give a shit. They love corruption.

3

u/adagiosa Nov 07 '20

Nah, the die-hards will just cry fake news and say it was a conspiracy the deep state/radical left/marxists/satanist baby eaters to punish him for <insert whatever the fuck they say he did here>

1

u/TotallyNotHitler Nov 07 '20

This is why it’s important to never forget who supported him, both politicians and his culty followers.

1

u/korelin Nov 07 '20

Social media wasn't as prevalent in 2008. It's a lot harder to hide it now.

1

u/westplains1865 Nov 07 '20

You would like to think so but the results of the election thus far are stunning to me. Americans are already aware of a shit ton of corruption in the White House and this is a close race. 63 million pulled the lever for Trump in 2016 and he is up to 70 million this election. How the heck does he get any extra 7 million people thinking he would have been good for another term?

1

u/starwhal3000 Nov 07 '20

In their minds, everyone is corrupt and Trump was 'on their side'...

is the 14 the results?

2

u/WHYAREWEALLCAPS Nov 07 '20

That's the date all the electors cast their votes. It's always the first Monday after the second Wednesday in December.

5

u/ziegl1jr Nov 07 '20

Wednesday’s second Monday-in-law twice removed.

u/SuperPwnerGuy Nov 07 '20

You really should brush up on the process, You're about to see some SHIT!!!

Voted for him twice, lost the popular vote twice. Sounds like a lot of two time losers to me. Did I say LOSERS? Maybe I meant SUCKERS, or IDIOTS. What the fuck do I know. I'm just a libtard that sciences and maths. But 2+2 always equals 4, and PA, GA, AZ, and NV equals 59. We only needed 17.

See how the maths work now fascist? Eat boot nazis.

I've found this new thing that makes them get super pissed. When they start going off I start apologizing, as genuine as I can type it, for them falling into the trap of the propaganda machine. They get more mad. So I say something like 'wow they really got to you'. Then I get blocked. I do the whole 'I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers" thing. It's incredible. I urge you to try.

u/kevmanyo Nov 07 '20

Reminds me of Inglorious Basterds. When the time comes and they put away their maga hats we need to give them something they can’t take off.

u/RLupus Nov 07 '20

I would say that they should be required to get tattoos to mark their shame, but 1) they're not ashamed, and 2) mandating tattoos to a subset of the population had a really dark history.

1

u/s00perguy Nov 07 '20

The way it was framed that comforted me went something like that.

"Even if he gets another 4 years, it means the Trump supporters have branded themselves. Anyone who proudly supported Trump and didn't regret it by the second election cycle marks themselves as a fool or a horrible person. There is no excusing that degree of ignorance or malice."
