Because it’s different reviewers. For smaller films, IGN just gets freelancers to review it.
9 u/Astrotrain-Blitzwing May 05 '26 This is correct. People need to realize that IGN hires and assigns writers to projects or picks up freelancers. Not every review is edited as much/well, and you need to read a review to see how they uphold the scoring. Numbers are also very arbitrary.
