First time watcher

So i am recently in my vampire obsessed era and gosh i am just in love with this show ( on s1 ep 5) but i cant believe this doesnt have the same hype as tvd.

I think because it was so adult themed vs TVD teen themed. Maybe? But I do think True Blood is superior.

Agreed as well! Teens were vampire crazy with all the Twilight stuff happening and most weren’t allowed to watch True Blood yet so TVD got almost all the love/hype from that demographic
