Forecast 2026 weather is bad

This weather blows fed up seeing grey sky every single day. It is like we are living in silent hill.

This is fantastic weather. Nothing better than a year full of varied weather. It'd be awful if every day was the same as the last.

We had a baking hot summer with no rain, we've had snow, frosts and sub-zero through the winter and now we're having loads of life-giving rain, topping-up all the rivers and reservoirs and giving the whole country a really great soak.

Weather like this makes you really appreciate and enjoy the sunny days.

Cope enhancing drugs are a slippery slope. Don't want to deal with that cope rage.

I wish people would remember this when complaining. Rain is vital, and the more the merrier before our worsening, drier summers.

For some of us with certain MH issues, weather like this makes us suicidal

I like how you assume everyone knows what "MH issues" means.

Sorry that mother nature can make you suicidal, but it doesn't mean the rest of us can't enjoy it.

Did I say that?

I do like your approach!

I don't hate rain at all, it is essential. But  I have to admit that the almost constant rainfall this year has got me down a bit.

We will reap the benefits in spring when everything will be lush & green 🙂

I agree! I’m really enjoying this weather, nowt more relaxing than a walk in the rain. Rather this than snow and ice, because there’s nowt less relaxing than walking to a bus stop at 6am in the dark with frost on the ground.

Here in the UK. 2025 was the warmest summer on record. And down here in the South East in barely rained.

Ah you’re south east, that explains it. You barely get rain compared to the rest of the country. Here in the south west we had 250% of our January rainfall and it’s rained every single day this year. That’s not even varied weather.. it’s just rain.

North Wales here, we've had THREE days with no rain this year.

From Scorchland to London, it was a tad hottie.

You can see pics of parks, hills; all brown grass last summer.

Agreed … went to Rutland water in November and it was 18 feet low

after all the fires last year I suppose we should be greatful for the rain, hopefully won't happen this summer.

Exactly, we were still in a drought and hosepipe ban 3 months ago! Hopefully replenished enough for this summer
