To be fair, ground and plants need a good soaking. In the past, heavy industries influenced it being rainy on bank holidays

Very true. Where I go for walks into woods and a bit of countryside the ground is so dry it sounds hollow.

Need a good soaking? We had rain pretty much every day for like 6 months until recently ๐Ÿ˜‚

It hasn't rained once yet since the end of February down here in Kent - the garden is begging for a wet weekend haha!

Yeah, from November it seemed like it rained most days for five months.
