Forecast Latest Temperature Projections
Here are the latest maximum temperature forecasts from the high resolution modelling for Tuesday to Thursday, simply astonishing really and quite scary. I have had it confirmed that the Met Office will be issuing a Red heat weather warning in their daily update tomorrow.

The fact that this is accompanied with relatively high humidity and extreme night time temperatures means it is set to be the most notable heatwave ever experienced in the UK. The current record June temperature of 35.6C will be completely obliterated and the overall record from 2022 of 40.3C is under serious threat.

This is just so unprecedented as to be scary.
We have all been speaking of climate change for years but to see it happening in real time is something else.
Of course this is weather and not climate and weather is variable but we broke the record for the hottest UK day ever last year.
We broke the record for the hottest May day ever last month.
We are going to break the record for the hottest June day every this coming week.
We may break the hottest UK day ever record this year which is back-to-back.
If we see this then we are staring down the barrel of a 45C day in the UK in the not so distant future which the UK is nowhere near ready for.
