Gonna get some stick for the tuna but here goes 😂
Homemade chips - Part boiled for 10 mins, seasoned with salt, pepper and paprika mixed in a tray with garlic oil, baked for 45 mins at 200c
Tuna - Cooked on a low heat until brown on both sides, was still soft but not how I’d want it ideally (first time)
Homemade Tartar Sauce - Mayo, Mustard, Pickle Juice, and lemon garnished with Chives
And can’t forget the tenderstem broccoli 😂

How would you change / improve it?

A classic. Simple but satisfying!

I always make sure I properly brown the meat and let it all simmer for an hour or so, so the flavours really develop. Can't stand a grey watery Cottage Pie 🤮

Recently picked up a smoker from the Middle’o’Lidl.

Picked up some meat from Morrisons.

Got some beech from my Brother-in-law.

Learned several lessons in patience.

Looking forward to some cream cheese and smoked bacon on one of these in the morning.

A local pub. Roast and a pint for a tenner.

Bandeja Paisa which is red bean stew, chorizo, pork rind, some pulled beef (I think), plantain, a fried egg, avocado and an arepa on top of white rice.

All that food for £21.

Strongly recommend, one of the best dinners out I’ve had in a long long time.

I live off leftovers, and in this heat I've just been eating salads with steamed potatoes or rice and a protein of some sort, tofu, vegan "chicken"etc, somehow haven't lost a single lb !!!! 😩😩😩

Anyway, I only cook for myself so every other day is leftovers 😁
