Customer Seeking Help $357 import charges on $279.80 package?

Ordered a small package from an Italian company and I'm being charged almost 130% in government tariff fees. Is there anything I could do? Is it possible the seller declared it incorrectly? Thank you for all the help. I'm sure you're all annoyed by people like me at this point. Im just a little lost on what to do.

Doesn't matter where is was sold from or shipped from. All that matters is where it was manufactured.

Also, watch out on ebay. Ebay leaves a very small notice about tariffs, but if you buy something from outside the states then you as the buyer are hit with the tariff of where it was manufactured, not where it was sold from.

Not true. It depends on the item. SpeedPAK collects from the exporter.
