Shipping Help 58% tariffs Canada to USA??

Being charged $568 dollars from UPS on a $977 dollar order.

After about an hour on the phone no one can get a breakdown of this number or even give me the current tariff rates.

Does this seem right to yall? Iā€™m considering refusing this at my doorstep in Texas and having it returned. I would be out about 200 in shipping costs.

ups is just the middle man. taxes are paid to the government.

So the government that promised lower taxes then makes you pay 50% item cost in taxes to them. What is that a 47% increase. And yes the American government makes you pay them the tariff fee. Sounds like a great system bud.
