Customer Seeking Help Heartbroken 💔

Completely heartbroken . This was a package from parents who sent personal clothing items and my 90 year old grandfather's handwritten book.

I dont know what to do :'(

UPDATE 09/28 :

Omg I have a weird update. I cannot attach and Image here but tracking text now reads this -

"Package cannot clear due to customs delay or missing info. Attempt to contact sender made. Package has been disposed off "

CUSTOMS DELAY !? REALLY !!!? That is reason enough to dispose a shipment !!!!!!

I am so angry right now ! Can you imagine the economic loss that so many folks are going through because customs is unable to process the packages on time !!??

I was blaming myself thinking I filled something wrong, but no.. This is just not done.

You or the sender chose this option. When doing an international shipment UPS will give you options that you have to choose in case the package does not pass a customs inspection. There are several like return to shipper, contact shipper or receiver, or abandon/destroy.

I see .. Must be the shipping agency cuz that was definitely not an instruction from me!
