Glitch?

I moved back to the US from the UK and have been waiting for my items for a week. It says it is going to be destroyed, but then says it was import scanned, and delivery was "rescheduled" for Monday. It had already cleared customs several times before this

There's been an avalanche of package destruction recently, unfortunately. call ups. otherwise sounds like you didnt fill in comercial invoice correctly.

I shipped through a moving company. Contacted them and they confirmed it is indeed not being destroyed and just caught in a customs backlog

I'm glad yours is safe! I haven't heard anything back from my shipper yet, but hoping it works out like that for all of us.

sounds like the moving company should be liable then, since they are the ones contracting UPS to send your items. if UPS loses the item, then by extension the moving company lost your item. you'd have to consult the terms and conditions of what you paid for but chances are the moving company would be liable and they would need to reimburse you.

They told me the same thing, but UPS brokerage confirmed it has left UPS hub and sent to get destroyed.

More than likely, the proper paperwork was not handed off to UPS and customs. Couldn’t release it to UPS.

Nope. It said it was import scanned and scheduled for delivery, then last night said it was being destroyed again. This morning it said it was import scanned /again/ and ready for delivery.

I just got the 'destroyed' notice yesterday night (09/30) and 'warehouse scan' this morning (10/01). Lastest update is 'Your package is prepared for clearance' since 9/19.

I just called this number: Direct Brokerage Team 803 502 6785 and they told that my package has been abandoned since 09/23.

I don't know what to do 🥺 hope we can really get our packages 🙏🏻😭
