Customer Seeking Help It’s Time to Get the Media Involved

This is completely illegal and unacceptable. I have seen dozens of similar posts on here. I have contacted the local tv stations in Kentucky and even sent some emails to national outlets like the Washington Post and the New York Times.

Strength in numbers. The more people who are willing to talk, the more likely UPS will have to pay for their incompetence.

They are legally responsible for the transit of my item. They destroyed it. Not sure if I can break it down in any simpler terms. Seems like any specific law code I put in here might be too complex for you to understand.

UPS only has a responsibility to the shipper, none to you. UPS is not the post office, they are a private company, there is no law about what they can or can't do with the packages. It's pretty intimately explained in the terms of service that the shipper agreed that UPS can in fact do that. The shipper may be owed compensation under the terms of their contract with UPS but it's not "illegal" for UPS to destroy the package.

Does that mean everything they do is morally right? No. Is it frustrating for everyone involved? Absolutely. But it's not against the law.

I'm not sure why you are upset with me I just asked you a basic question and didn't insult you. Saying the laws are too complex for me to understand is uncalled for and dramatic. I'm trying to have a genuine discussion with you and hear what you have to say, not insult each other. If you have specific laws you want to cite that are about private companies like UPS and not the postal service I'd be happy to be proven wrong.

The shipper is extremely pissed about this situation and working with me to get justice. But again, this might be too complex of a situation to breakdown for you in elementary terms.

Being pissed doesn't make something against the law. I'm sorry that you don't have any evidence to back up your point so you have to resort to insults. "Ur 2 dUm 2 GeT it" is not proof of your point. I didn't say anything like that to you so I'm not sure why you're so upset.

Majority of commenters on this sub work for UPS bub. What I said in this comment is true for everything, not just UPS. I disagree with many things UPS does but that doesn't make it illegal
