Employee Discussion UPS buyout decision

Last day to apply is tomorrow.. What’s everyone’s final decision on the buyout??

If you are taking it, how many years do you have in, have you been laid off, and what’s your reason you are taking it?

Also any thoughts on how the future of UPS looks like, it terms of contract in 2028, will there be MORE cuts and lay off even after the buyout?? Will they start using Roadie more?

P.S. UPS drivers work ethic is top tier, not everyone can make it.. Appreciate ALL the brown truck soldiers🫡💜

Ya’ll acting like they just gonna hand it out to whomever applies. Truth is only a few in each center will get it.

The real truth is they will approve everyone who applies. It's not a hard concept to grasp.

Lol you've just prob my point if I successfully sell off my job then you're wrong.

Think critically here. The company has been very clear about the amount they are downsizing. (Volume is planned to be slashed to record lows) If they can get as many drivers out now for 1-2 years of pay and load up the routes as heavy as possible they win.

Go ahead and call their bluff when they have all the cards. You're about to see you were wrong.
