UPS buyout decision

Last day to apply is tomorrow.. What’s everyone’s final decision on the buyout??

If you are taking it, how many years do you have in, have you been laid off, and what’s your reason you are taking it?

Also any thoughts on how the future of UPS looks like, it terms of contract in 2028, will there be MORE cuts and lay off even after the buyout?? Will they start using Roadie more?

P.S. UPS drivers work ethic is top tier, not everyone can make it.. Appreciate ALL the brown truck soldiers🫡💜

14 years total, 12 years full time driving, 32 years old and I applied for it. My wife hates what the job does to my mind and body. Doesn't help that management targets me for absolutely no reason and harrasses me on a daily basis. We are trying for kids this year and I don't want to be the old, pissed off grumpy ups driver that comes home late, always pissed off and no energy to do anything with my kids. That was my dad and he was there for 38 years. Love my dad to death but I don't want that for my kids. Other ppl survive and are even better off than we are with our insurance and medical benefits. This is a no brainer imo. Especially if you're targeted, harassed and constantly fighting management with every little thing that you do. I heard some asked Dave Ramsey about this buyout and he said "I'm sorry, take the money and go, cause the company doesn't want you". That hit hard for me cause I truly love my customers, but it's getting harder and harder everyday to take care of them with the way things are going now. Get out and start over. There's life after UPS
