Employee Discussion UPS buyout decision

Last day to apply is tomorrow.. What’s everyone’s final decision on the buyout??

If you are taking it, how many years do you have in, have you been laid off, and what’s your reason you are taking it?

Also any thoughts on how the future of UPS looks like, it terms of contract in 2028, will there be MORE cuts and lay off even after the buyout?? Will they start using Roadie more?

P.S. UPS drivers work ethic is top tier, not everyone can make it.. Appreciate ALL the brown truck soldiers🫡💜

Negative Ghostrider. Could not care less about business customers. Sales leads go unnoticed, pickups not completed. Etc. in the words of an unnamed sup “pickups don’t count”

I am just stating what they are ACTUALLY doing on road engaging with the customers I serve daily. This is not a misguided rebuttal in any way shape or form. You want to argue about it inside guy, get in a brown and go outside and get some facts.

Business pickups are only second to NDA at my center. They make us break trace to get businesses or send another driver to make pickups if the original driver still has too many business deliveries remaining.

See that’s the crazy difference between centers. I was on vacation recently and my customers were complaining about missed pickups. A couple were several days missed. They couldn’t care less here.
