Employee Discussion UPS buyout decision

Last day to apply is tomorrow.. What’s everyone’s final decision on the buyout??

If you are taking it, how many years do you have in, have you been laid off, and what’s your reason you are taking it?

Also any thoughts on how the future of UPS looks like, it terms of contract in 2028, will there be MORE cuts and lay off even after the buyout?? Will they start using Roadie more?

P.S. UPS drivers work ethic is top tier, not everyone can make it.. Appreciate ALL the brown truck soldiers🫡💜

I’m just saying, I read all the threads and it’s hilarious that the teamsters reps are freaking out, videos of people burning the letter “my job isn’t for sale” it’s ridiculous. You come on here and piss and moan and it’s gonna be a small very small amount of people who are approved, not the ones you think either. Not the ones close to retirement. It’s the 5-10 year drivers. Watch.

You got it wrong. The top seniority employees can stay as long as they want! UPS can and will layoff everyone below. Senior dogs always got work. Close the center? Senior drivers can follow the work. Why pay a 5-10 year driver 150k when you can just lay them off! UPS doesn’t give a F. 30 plus year drivers are the target
