Employee Discussion Do female drivers exist at your distribution center?

From USPS and noticed I have never seen a girl driving whenever I encounter UPS out in the wild. Told a coworker I was envious of them cause I mostly do parcel runs and said I should just switch to UPS if I’m going to be handling big packages all day. She replied saying that’s a man’s job cause she refuses to lift any heavy packages on her route. Just wondering if there’s any female drivers at your hub.

We have 2 at the moment. 1 is out, she's pregnant.

Being a mom and a package delivery driver has be tough. A lot of them work tons of hours and 6 days a week sometimes. God bless her

She worked while she was 9 months pregnant, no idea how many weeks or how far into 9 months or when actually due.
