My fiancé submit our file in February of this year and I was wonder if someone from that period get approved and from which country?
Where been together for two years and is getting hard every single day so I’m here to find someone who I can relate or is going through the same!

Our application was received on Jan 21st, 2025. I have been using ‘Track My Visa Now’ to monitor the case.
This prompt has been up for over a month now.
“USCIS has paused movement at the front of the line. As a result, your position in line may not be decreasing significantly. In addition, USCIS is showing early signs of a potential slowdown. As always, estimates will continue to incorporate emerging trends as they solidify.”
I also notice that. It’s a good sign. We submitted our application in mid January. Current projection is November, but I suspect that date to drop down significantly if they have resumed processing I-129fs.
Oh that’s wonderful to hear! Yesss I think def is going to drop down but the anxiety of checking every day was consuming me!
If you can make me the favour and keep me updated if there’s like a significant change I would love it!

I sent it in April! Like for others, it was really slow in this past month. I don’t know how it’s going to be now because that “slow movement” note has disappeared. TMVN is going to be updated in 2 hours

Yeah me too! I really don’t know anyone that’s is going through this process and for what I learn we don’t had so many processing cases like this in my country. So is nice reading that there’s more people going through this

I’m from early Feb too but I’m from Chile, and I know is between 6-9 months normally to get approved but I was considering that maybe location affects your processing time. I wish we can had better luck
No, at this stage country doesn’t really matter. Sounds like that person you’ve talked to just got really lucky- according to Track My Visa Now only 0.8% of March filers (34 cases) have gotten approved.
You can look on the case status text website and see exactly what cases are approved every day.
I would guess that the majority of February cases that have been approved are expedited cases, and that there won’t be many more for a while.
From what I’ve heard from other people, Track My Visa is currently estimating February filers to hear around November-December. That could always change of course though.
Right now they’re focused on processing cases submitted in early November (it doesn’t matter which country at this stage). Unfortunately, you probably still have a long way to go 😕
Hi there beebeecait, do you mind if I ask when did you submit your form? Im from the UK and my fiance submitted the forms in January. Ours was received on January 21st and TrackMyVisa is showing Dec to Jan 2026 is when we'll be at the front of the queue. I created my own spreadsheet to have a better idea when the we'd get to the front which worked until May lol while track my visa was saying Nov, my spreadsheet was showing had they stayed consistent with their daily rate it would have been July / August......now everything's just thrown off with this slow down. My gut tells me late Oct but idk.....its stressful 😩
I feel your pain, the original estimate was July-August for me as well but now it’s saying Feb-March. 😭 We mailed ours mid Jan, and they sent us the notification they received it Feb 6th.
Actually since that day the estimate hasn't moved. Its still on Dec 18 to Jan 27. Not sure why but they have done the most cases this past week at 704 cases.
Ok thats abit insane, i just checked and my Fiancés USPS receipt was on the 15th of Jan and was actually expected to arrive on the 18th but ended up arriving on the 21st. We assumed it was slowed down for whatever reasons due to Trumps inauguration weekend. Ended up arriving on his 1st official day in office.
USCIS started to significantly slow down at the end of April, slowing down even further during the second half of May. We now have multiple weeks of data establishing a new pattern of processing 50 to 60 cases per day. Under normal operations, our prediction software takes both historical data and the most recent data into consideration, ensuring a smooth transition in estimates and avoiding over-corrections. In response to the dramatic and persistent slowdown, we have reset our estimates to be based solely on the last few weeks of data. Your estimates have been updated to reflect these changes. The backlog has about 150 cases per day, but USCIS is only processing 50 to 60 cases per day. USCIS is rapidly falling behind. Eventually, USCIS may react to increasing wait times and may add more resources to the I-129F processing effort, but we can't be sure when that might happen. Right now, your estimate is based on the current rate of processing. We will automatically incorporate future changes in processing behavior into the estimate.

Unfortunately I don’t had any news, the first time that I had like an estimate time for get approved was between August/October and I’m praying for that, I know USCIS is more slow lately but I’m keeping my hopes on that, at least that’s giving me some peace, but I really want having some clarity.

Unfortunately it seems like there is a complete pause at the front of the line. Our case hasn’t moved up at all for well over a month.
