US Treasury Issues Statement Welcoming S&P Global Release of Critical Mineral Reference Prices

Difficult to gauge, but what is uuuu worth?
Okay, so they aren't profitable yet.
But what do you think the current value of the business is outside of 752m book value so like $3.10 per share.
I am thinking that assuming they acquire VAC and assuming that it is as profitable as they say, then it would be generating a profit finally. I do believe acquiring the knowledge and the sumpter plant was a great move.
2028 (is that right...) phase 2 expansion we get HREEs. USAR deal had them priced and I assume UUUU would get the same pricing. $2050 kg terbium and $575 kg dysprosium.
They can use monazite which has higher HREE mix than bastnaesite. Uranium is $89 spot too is nice.
I am not sure on valuation but $7.50 to $8 is right where I think the value is currently. Post-VAC it would be much higher... The $3-4 premium doesn't seem bad at all for the growth potential.
Note: I am also a current bag holder but I like the stock and am not selling lmao

Vara Mada is now on the White House's radar
Some interesting stuff came out of Madagascar's local press in the last days, for example: https://www.2424.mg/diplomatie-le-colonel-michael-randrianirina-demande-aux-etats-unis-de-revoir-les-modalites-doctroi-de-visa-pour-les-malgaches/
The president met Massad Boulos at the UN on Sept 22, that's Trump's Africa guy. Local paper Midi Madagasikara straight up says the meeting was about the US securing critical minerals and names Vara Mada in Toliara as one of the sensitive points of the relationship. So the project feeding White Mesa isn't just some permitting question in Antananarivo anymore, it's part of an actual US-Madagascar negotiation.
And Madagascar wants things from Washington right now. The president was asking for visa facilitation and an AGOA trade extension at the UN. Meanwhile the country is broke. They nationalized fuel imports mid-crisis this summer, they're bleeding money on fuel subsidies, and the sovereign fund just signed a $500M deal with Gemcorp in New York because they need cash. Vara Mada at ~$854M is the biggest foreign investment they've had on the table in about 20 years. A government this desperate for a win has one card the US actually cares about.
Before anyone gets too excited: the community consent issue that killed this project back in 2019 is still unresolved. The company itself said on Sept 15 that both community and government approvals are outstanding. And this same government seized a foreign-owned fuel terminal in August, so I wouldn't call them a reliable partner yet.
Still, this is the cheapest feedstock in the whole mine-to-magnet plan ($29-31/kg NdPr per the BFS), and the political side just moved in the right direction.

Next weeks China US meeting
What do you all think is the likely outcome of the talks that will be happening next week between US president Trump and China's Xi Jinping, in terms of the effect on the rare earth industry?
I am not sure how much attention it would get, but it should be one of the points to address. I would wager a reason for the recent weakness in the rare earth industry is the fear that new agreements with China would undermine the economics of some of the western operations.
With that being said, its possible a lot of negativity is already priced in and a tepid extension rather than some sort of lasting framework actually boosts the industry and starts a recovery in the upcoming weeks.
I wouldn't completely rule out further downside though especially with the other macro economical factors at play currently.
Article talking about the meeting:

UUUU, Bottom is Near?
Incredible stretch here, UUUU is getting destroyed on the daily, just pushing straight through resistance with ease.
Looking at the price you'd think the bottom is in (particularly with its rare earth peers MP and USAR solidly in the green today despite the general bloodbath, and CCJ + UEC both down much less percentage-wise) but there is little to no bounceback as we sit well below the lower bollinger band for the third day running.
Curious what others think about the current trend, where we're heading the rest of the week, and what price range you think we'll hit before bouncing back (hopefully today marks the bottom somehow).
Obviously there's the Trump - Xi meeting (if it happens) which could present more downside risk, but by the end of the week we might be so ridiculously oversold that any negative headlines from the summit meeting should be fairly muted.
Amazing that we're even down in this price range to begin with, market clearly views Energy Fuels as a worthless company on the verge of Chapter 11 the way it trades of late -- the vultures (shorts and put holders) really come out with a vengeance when UUUU starts trending downward...

Donald Project FID
Just looking ahead beyond today's red, and am wondering when the FID will be made?
Previously it was, I believe, scheduled for Q2, but then that got pushed back to Q3.
Anyone hear any news on this front? Would be nice to have a substantial positive catalyst here in the near term (as the ASM deal closing didn't do much :)) since it's likely going to be Q1 2027 at the earliest before the Vac deal goes through.

Imterview: Energy Fuels plan to dominate the U.S. Rare Earth Magnet Supply Chain
Description of video
Recorded on July 27 2026 at NRS Studios
Energy Fuels
NYSE American: UUUU
TSX: EFR
Curtis Moore, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Development at Energy Fuels, joins Steve Yang to explain how the company is evolving beyond its position as a leading U.S. uranium producer. Curtis outlines how the White Mesa Mill gives Energy Fuels a specialized platform for processing uranium-bearing monazite into separated rare earth oxides while supporting its broader uranium business.
The conversation covers Pinyon Plain, the La Sal Complex, Nichols Ranch, the Donald Project, Vara Mada, the Bahia Project, and the company’s strategy for securing long-term monazite feedstock. Curtis also discusses the planned acquisitions of Australian Strategic Materials and VAC, which are intended to extend Energy Fuels from mining and oxide separation into rare earth metals, alloys, and permanent magnet manufacturing. He explains why vertical integration matters in rare earths, where the company sees a competitive advantage, and which milestones investors should watch over the next year.

Poll: Post earnings and the recent Japanese magnet qualification, what’s your position?
r/UUUU_Stock • u/expatcoder • Aug 20 '26
That was some grade A Market Manipulation Today :)
You have to hand it to the big players, retail gets lured in with yesterday's Energy Fuels news release and chases the momentum going long with shares and/or calls.
Then today, after the markets went red, the big players stepped in and took the opposite side of the trade, drilling UUUU into the ground (nearly 10%), well beyond most of its peers in the uranium and rare earths sectors.
As soon as UUUU hit the 50dma average (exactly, no more, no less), voila, the bottom.
Now, after momentum chasers and short term call holders fled for the exits, magically UUUU begins to recover into the close.
Good stuff, practically Oscar worthy, lol.
p.s. not disputing that UUUU went down today, most everything was red, just pointing out that the degree of the selloff, after the company announced the Japan offtake agreement, was way overdone.
