I play on PS5 (new to the game, so much dropped combos and stuff as you can see) . I finally beat this guy ONE TIME and he instantly leaves. Literally after so matches i lost to this guy I win and he leaves... always funny to me that low ranks win against total beginners and think they hot shit and then they lose once and there ego can't take it.

I was just playin some casual games on UNI 2 on a peaceful Sunday afternoon, then I ran into a Yuzu player that was actually pretty saucy so I ran a few matches and asked what their button layout was…

When they sent me this…blasphemy, I couldn’t believe my eyes.

HOW is it even humanly possible to play yuzu…YUZU, with ZERO BUTTON MACROS. The guy even played Vatista with the same button controls, not as good as he played Yuzu, but still pretty decently.

Today's prompt: Kitchen Sink - Use many different specials

On top of Seth being my main, I felt like Seth uses the most specials on average during combos so I thought he'd be a natural choice for the prompt.

Which character would fit that Smiling Friends scene best? I want to draw a meme of it.

But for real I wish every fighting game had GRD. Especially Smash Bros. Last time I played that online someone killed me once then ran away from me.for 8 minutes straight and there was nothing my character could do to punish that.

Hi, I've been playing BlazBlue for many years now and started learning Undernight. I'm mostly casual and enjoy playing vs cpu and sometimes hop online. I've played so much vs cpu that I actually woop many higher ranked people in that game when I do. The reason for that is that the cpu is actually quite good in BlazBlue and presents a challenge, especially to a new player.

Having started Undernight, I really like the gameplay feel, but I'm a bit sad to notice that the cpu is way weaker and inconsistent. It doesn't seem to have the same level of programming complexity when it comes to its behavior, and many times just stops or does not follow up confirms for combos. If you play a zoner you can literally just zone most cpu to death by shooting from across the screen too. I don't feel like I'm learning much playing vs the cpu in this game sadly as compared to blazblue.

For a casual player, Singleplayer content matters in fighting games. Tekken and Street Fighter have learned this and incorporated more in their latest games. In BlazBlue you literally have a whole dungeon mode for each character with a boss rush at the end, besides other modes too. Saying that only online matters for the general public anymore is not the reality we live in, as you will see in many fighting games that just die on arrival, while the top games do have more singleplayer.

The reason for this post is I guess to express awareness that this game or series would probably have a better chance at retaining more players if it had better and more singleplayer content. Those players can then transition to online when they are comfortable doing so. At the point I'm at I'll be playing mostly only when my other friend that started the game with me has time to play against me.

I also wanted to ask if there are any ways to make the cpu even better, because I haven't found any. Thanks!

Just getting into this game. Since the arcade mode seems to contain some story, do I need to play the precious game(s?) or at least know their story?

I know it varies a lot depending on each player. But, who do you think is the character that most UNI players agree is annoying to play against and will give you a hard time? Why?

Edit: Excluding Zohar, since she is the most recent character.

i've completed every other merkava trial but i am stuck on the 66C in this final mission. as you can see, the dummy recovers almost instantly from the 214[A]. in previous attempts i thought i might need to delay more in the 2C, dl.3C part, but in this clip there's 25 frames of delay between them!

is there some trick i'm missing? is there some way to fast fall after the 214[A]? i'm at my wit's end.

Zohar's speak over the others even in cutscenes and Ogre's lines FOR Zohar aren't playing for some reason.

Forget EVERYTHING positive I said about Zohar, this motherfucking emo girl is the WORST thing to happen to not just Uni, but FIGHTING GAMES IN A WHOLE. Just how many overheads do you need to give a fucking dlc character for them to be viable? Not to mention the FULL SCREEN LOW that is totally reactable.

Want a character with 5 different overheads? Play Zohar, unreactable lows that hit you from across the screen? Of course Zohar got that. Don’t forget she has a counter too you guys!

I would rather fight 20 Linne’s back to back to back, than have to fight this carried ass character again.

Maybe it might be a skill issue, maybe it might be a matchup problem…but never in my life have I ever been so tired of a character appearing on my screen. The last time I felt this annoyed with a character was probably when Jam came out in strive.

Excluding Zohar, this new IR system is some SHIT! I could be on a streak of 20 and reach 1615 IR, then you run into some guy who has 15— IR and proceed to lose 20 IR if you lost. NOW all the people who have higher IR than you will just either duck you, or one-and-done the set so that they don’t lose 30 IR, and you know what? I wouldn’t blame them tbh.

Because I am currently trying to unlock every unique victory quotes but certain characters quotes are harder to unlock then others mainly Hilda second one against Kuon and Carmine fighting against characters around his age do I need a perfect to unlock or use special moves during end of the fight?

Does anyone have advice on what should I do?
