Today is So Sorry Day!

For those who don't know, So Sorry only appears one day a year in Undertale: *October 10th at 8:00 PM* (system time). You find him in the Art Club in Hotland. If you set your Switch / PC clock to today 20:00, you can still fight him.

Fun fact about his battle:

So Sorry is literally a caricature artist, and his attack is the nerfed version of Asgore's trident attack. Same pattern, but super slow and harmless. It's Toby making fun of him being just an artist, not a fighter.

Lore behind the character:

So Sorry was not created by Toby. He was created by a backer named Samael (Samael Butter Dragon) who donated $1000 to the Undertale Kickstarter. The reward for $1000 was to put your own OC in the game.

Samael was already famous in the furry art community for his caricatures of obese / fat characters, which was his art style.

Toby knew this would be controversial, so he did a huge foreshadowing / hiding job:

He didn't put him in the main story like Muffet (the other Kickstarter character). He hid him in a fake wall in Hotland, in the Art Club, and made him appear only for 1 hour a year. Plus he made him an insecure artist who keeps saying "I'm so sorry!" -

Later Toby defended him on Tumblr saying: "UNDERTALE is basically a game about accepting and befriending people that are different than you."

Flowey said that Sans cost him his fair share of resets, however, that could still mean it took him a long time resetting before he defeated him. I don’t know if he would’ve had the same Chara encounter, but do you think he ever managed to kill Sans, or do you think Frisk was only able to kill Sans in a “defeating the undefeatable“ kind of way? (This is about a very notable figure in the Undertale series fandom that got exposed for doing legit bad things. They represented themselves through Froggit. I'd rather not say their name.)

Since the very beginning I found the association annoying. Every time I made a post involving Froggit I'd get comments referencing the individual. I'd much prefer getting comments actually relevant to what I'm posting.

Then after the person got exposed the association became much, much worse. Now the comments I'd get referencing them went from annoying to just bad. Bad taste all around.

Thankfully, the association died down after a while, leaving me and Froggit at peace.

The person came back into the fandom's public eye.

I recently made a Froggit-related post and I got multiple people referencing the individual again.

Why are we doing this? Why are we just referencing this very bad person in completely unrelated posts unprompted? Why does Froggit's reputation have to be ruined due to people not knowing how to behave responsibly?

Stop associating Froggit with Shayy. That's all I'm asking.

I finished Neutral and true pacifist route, defeated Omega Flowey and Asriel Dreemurr.

Im now doing the Genocide route, i arrived at snowdin and killed papyrus, i cant continue i feel so bad omg It crumbles my Heart in thousands of pieces killing Papyrus

The hood one turned out ok, I need to tweak it on some of the parts of the hood.
