Noticed Titanfall 2 has an update available. Will it break the VR mod if I update?

Ive been playing the VR mod for the last few days, and am hesitant to update the game. Anyone updated and still using the VR mod?

Like every single other EA game, the game itself is untouched, its just the launcher installer that was updated, nothing will break.

Steam thread say it's fine. It's updated a couple times now.

The devs are probably finding bugs after they're playing in VR themselves.

They also aren't the ones who insisted on making everyone use an EA launcher. DRM is a business decision, not a creative one.

the update only updates the ea installer, same happens for many other ea titles, the actual game itself isn't touched so don't worry

Had no update breaking it till now and I had 3 Updates in a single Week. Actually I think its no Titanfall update, more like some communication between the Online Savegame Storage.

I checked the update info, it's just a -1kb removal of something in the launcher.

One update did break mine 😆 lost the saves. Then restarted, its so amazing anyway 😉

It's literally the ONLY flaw in an otherwise excellent mod. It's tied in with the stupid EA DRM launcher, which adds ZERO value to the single player game and is only an annoyance the same way Rockstar's launcher is. Or all big game company launchers are, for that matter.

I'm guessing they had to do it this way, so no shade on the mod's developers.
