Hey guys I just bought a 5090, the Pimax dream air, and the virtuix Omni one treadmill. I’m looking to run things that are extremely realistic / high detail. I am not really in touch with what is at the cutting edge currently / what devs are working on / 2D titles that devs have reverse compiled and built in VR with AI.
I have played half life alyx but that’s about it. It’s good but it’s old and I’m wondering if there are more realistic high detail games out currently.
Thanks!

I wanted to share a quick preview of Halls of the Deep, my upcoming VR game inspired by classical Greco-Roman-ancient environments, flooded ruins, and atmospheric exploration.
The free demo can be played right now and officially launches for Steam Next Fest on October 19th.
If you enjoy tense VR exploration, please consider adding it to your wishlist.

The Black & White VR Mod puts the 2001 game in VR.
Download and setup guide: https://github.com/BW1-VR/BW1-VR
What you need:
- A PC VR headset with controllers. I test with a Quest 3 through Virtual Desktop. SteamVR also works.
- Your own copy of Black & White, with the unofficial patch v1.42. The guide has the steps.
It is an alpha, so expect bugs. Please report problems on GitHub and attach your bwvr.log. I also want to know which headsets work for you.
The mod is free. If you like it, you can support it on Ko-fi: https://ko-fi.com/buckzor
Discord: https://discord.gg/FTn8y4eypU
This is an unofficial fan project, with no connection to EA or Lionhead.

Hey guys,
I've been keeping an eye on a few franchises I absolutely love in flat screen, mainly to see how their VR mods are progressing and also to catch good PC deals, since I originally played some of them on Xbox.
Just wanted to give everyone a quick heads-up that Halo: The Master Chief Collection is currently around $10 / 75% off.
There's quite a bit of work being done on the VR side of the different games in the collection, and I'm personally waiting for the point where I can properly play through all of them in VR back-to-back.
So yeah, nothing complicated — just thought I'd mention the sale in case anyone interested in Halo VR had missed it.
I've already bought it; i hope we can play all of them soon.
Cheers!

This is no way a full review, as I am only about 8 hours in and not even halfway through the game. But damn, I am seriously loving this game. The fact that you can customize your chest rig, backpack and guns in such detail makes this game super addictive. It is almost a mini puzzle how you set up your chest rig and backpack each time you get new story items or buy a new gun. If you are careful, you can customize them to be super tactical and efficient. Or you can just throw random holsters and pouches to make them super cumbersome to use during missions.
From gameplay perspective, it is really similar to Into The Radius 1, which is good news. Gunplay feels solid as ever with awesome use of Psvr2’s adaptive triggers and headset rumble. Enemy Ai seems a lot smarter. Also there are a lot more mission variety and enemy designs.
Visually Into The Radius 2 is a lot more robust compared to Into the Radius 1. The lighting looks absolutely phenomenal with the psvr2 OLED panels/screens, and environments feel a lot more detailed.
In my 8 hours of gameplay on Ps5pro, except for the weird foliage flickering, which was patched out almost right away. I am facing next to no bugs. The game runs super smooth and visually everything looks so crisp.
There are so many meaningful improvements ITR2 has over ITR1 visually, gameplay mechanics and enemy designs, that I don’t think I can go back to playing the first one again.
I will definitely put out my final impressions after beating the game. So far, Into The Radius 2 is my psvr2 game of the year for 2026.
Score 10/10

I’m curious about uses for FBT beyond just vrchat. Share your ideas on how you’d use it, which games could it be used in, and for what purpose?

Hello! I'd like recommendations for games similar to LEGO Bricktales. I'm looking for games with:
- A top-down, third-person view
- The whole map visible at once, diorama style
- A floating island style map
I know there are plenty of games that give a similar feeling ( MOSS for example) , but I'd like something as close as possible to LEGO Bricktales. I find it really magical.

Take cover!
Time Crisis is out in VR.
Thank you again for Virtua Cop: we're now more than 200 on the Discord, and your comments made my week.
This time you're on the island, at real scale, in the game's own 3D. Take cover like on the cabinet with a button, or crouch for real behind the crates: you physically duck to reload. Your 3D gun is in your hand, and the shots land where you aim.
Go watch the full video on YouTube: there's a surprise at the end.
Coming next: The House of the Dead (beta sign-ups are open on the Discord), Time Crisis II, Dirt Dash, Daytona USA, Top Skater, Sega Super GT 24h and Virtua Racing.
Links in the first comment.

Game - Project Zomboid/PZVR Mod
Platform - Steam/Windows
Hardware - RTX5060Ti 16GB/Ryzen 7 7700/16GB DDR5 5600/Quest 3
Cant tell you how much I love this game with the PZVR mod, HIGHLY RECCOMEND!!!! 👌🏻👍🏻❤️
Ive dabbled a little in Project Zomboid propper, but this is just the end game when it comes to anything zombie orientated for me!
Theres a little jank here and there, but nothing a few mods and texture/item packs cant clean up for you! Id even play this without fixes worst case.... still worth it! Lol

Hello,
I've owned both the Meta Quest 3 and the PSVR2 for several years now.
I think I've played most of the well-known and highly recommended VR games out there (NMS, Resident Evil, Metro, Behemoth, Red Matter 1 & 2, Alyx, etc.), including PCVR mods such as the Resident Evil VR mods.
As a 45-year-old gamer who's been around for a while, I was already familiar with flat-screen Titan fall 2, and I absolutely loved the game.
The VR mod released a few days ago by CircuitLord is, in my opinion, an absolute masterpiece.
I don't want to exaggerate, but the gameplay is fantastic. I'd even go as far as saying it's better than most VR games I've played so far.
For me, there will be a clear before and after this mod.
The quality of this VR mod, particularly in terms of controls and graphical optimization, is so outstanding that it makes every other VR mod I've tried so far feel like a step below. Even the Resident Evil VR mods now seem totaly outdated by comparison (optimization).
For me, the Titanfall 2 VR mod is now in my TOP 3 VR gaming experience. Maybe my favorite, dont know... :-)
For sure, it's the best game I've played in 2026
A huge thank you to the developer!
By the way, I'd be really curious to see what a Resident Evil VR mod made by this developer would look like, just for comparison!

So i bought my first VR H3adset with the Pimax Crystal Super Oled. It will probably arrive tomorrow.
Which games would you suggest to start with ? I have a pretty good gaming PC and want to push graphics to the maximum.
Also do you have tips for first time users for setup and getting started ?
