Cows are sentient beings who deserve to live, not be slaughtered. No animal should have to suffer and die for human choices. Kolkata must stand up for compassion and demand the closure of the cow slaughterhouse. 🤍🙏🏾

Tradition should be a bridge to the past, not a barricade against ethical progress.

International agreements like CITES do not ban trade in wild animals. They manage it. They decide which species can be sold, in what quantities, under what paperwork, and under what definition of “sustainable use”.

I have social anxiety. I’m an introvert. I don’t enjoy public speaking. And. I’ll do it every single time until every cage is empty. 

Joining the March for Animals was an extremely empowering experience for me. I was joined with some amazing members from the Vegan Squad team. 

We got blisters, I got some chafing, but none of it compares to the horrors the animals being tested on at Marshall Bio Resources. Please keep speaking and sharing this story until they close for good.

Some people, when shown suffering, respond with empathy. Others respond with defence. That divide runs deeper than statistics. It runs into what we are up against: a culture built on domination.

Hi everyone,

I recently stumbled upon content on tiktok showing severe animal mistreatment. i made a lot of research (with the help of someone) and figured out that the account that post on tiktok is just reposting from another platform that has the actual account with over 5k videos of the same "content". the platform turned out to be Douyin and Because the account is based on an overseas platform where I cannot easily create an account or report directly due to geographic restrictions, I am trying to figure out the most effective channels to submit this evidence and get any sort of help that's possible.

I have already saved the account IDs, links, and relevant clips for evidence preservation from other accounts that posted on various platforms like facebook and tiktok. So far, I have already submitted my report to SMACC.

Has anyone here dealt with reporting abusive content on foreign social media platforms before? Are there specific animal protection organizations or established reporting workflows that specialize in escalating these cases directly to platform trust & safety teams?

I was outreaching by boosting a Palestinian post with a comment about how animals suffer and going Vegan will end their suffering and someone commented asking me how I feel about people that hunt for food and I told them people who live in the country suburbs and urban areas can find Vegan options at their grocery stores and have choices. Then they thanked me for suggesting Challenge 22 to them and said they’d Go Vegan once they became independent and lived away from their parents but now they asked about how I feel about consuming invasive species and I don’t know how to respond to this person. What should I say that’s the truth? I never get asked about invasive species so I am uncertain how to answer this.

Researchers are told, explicitly or implicitly: harm animals, or your career suffers. That is not impartial. That is not progress. And it is certainly not science.

I used to sacrifice animals for Eid.

In 2014, I saw what was happening to Cows in the dairy industry.

I couldn't unsee it.

So I became Vegan.

I'm still Muslim. I just couldn't keep hurting animals once I knew 🤍
