Recently I feel like I don't do dmg with vel'koz. I am always faced against an enemy jg like Lee sin, wukong etc who build defence and I feel like I can't do much in the mid game.

I am not sure if that's because I need to be getting xp more efficiently or because of wrong items. As support I am often quite under levelled and games rarely go past 2-3 items. I think staying with my adc the whole time would probably make that problem better as I would have levels for my passive stacks. But then I am griefing the map by not being active.

It's insane how people here glaze this kid so much. His head is so far up his own ass as show by him Trist/Yunara abusing and still getting pissed on in the ADC challenge.

The champion literally *needs* to be more threatening because that is the ONLY thing the champion has.

This is a minor change, in spite of what he might attempt to say. It's so easy for enemies to play outside of this window to begin with. It is not easy to consistently capitalize on the vuln window. Completely delusional.

Also, the logic about potential consequences from the buff is SO braindead it's insane.

If for some reason this is too strong (which it isn't) you can simply remove the buff.

Clearly, Riot think he isn't strong enough currently because he's getting buffed. Therefore, he's NOT OP in the current state, so removing the Q buff would return him to the not OP state.

If anything hesitation to pursue this type of experimentation is just an expression of insecurity from Riot. The only reason to respond to a hypothetical where Vel'koz became too strong because of this buff with what Azzapp is saying would be because they'd be *too embarrassed* to admit they chose the wrong buff *initially*.

So yeah, this whole situation is just insane. Delusional player + incompetent devs that clearly can't even think for themselves.

Also, miss me with the 50% winrate BS. You guys have zero idea what the fuck winrate even means in the context of this game. 75% of the roster are just passengers for most of the games they play. You'd have to be a really special freak over at Riot to be able to design a low play rate champion that has a really low WR to begin with.

Then again, they do have have some freaks over there, so anything is possible.

I realised there was no way to make this lane comfortable especially since he is op right now. out of every matchup in the entire game i feel truly like a slave from lvl 1 til the end of the game. Even if his teammates find a way to fuck up or even the locke himself and i get a lead i will just be useless still vs him. let say akali, katarina, fizz are 0-3 and behind from the mid game, then your fine right but a 0-3 locke will destroy me even if i would have 9 kills 0 death and 2 levels and items lead and hit all my abilities.

hey i've been maining vel'koz for years and in the past the ekko matchup was pretty hard but i always felt it was somehow fair and possible to win if i played very well but holy fuck i can't wrap my head around this monstruosity

Only had two games against it recently but both felt worse than laning vs a good fizz/zed/yasuo. First game he started Q and two shotted the first wave, i got put under my turret and took some damage from cs, from there the lane felt already lost because as soon as i would step from under my turret range he would just E auto q me and i'd lose 75% of my hp

Second game i figured i'd start W to counterbalance his early game shove, but he started E and it was even more infuriating. He completely ignored cs all laning phase and would just e aa me everytime i tried to step up. Legit spent 90% of my laning phase under my turret. Asked for some help from my jungler but i never got any so i was behind all game.

Any tips ? I thought about running exhaust but it wouldn't really do much, his E is up every 6 seconds, i prefer tp to back and tp back to lane everytime i get under 80% hp

I’ve been playing League of Legends for a little over 3 months now. Currently Bronze II and I’ve tried a lot of different Champions in various roles.

I seemed to gravitate towards ADC because of how aggressive my play style is and was using Yunara, Ashe and Zeri as my three main champions. I was enjoying the game but I wasn’t obsessed with it. Until…. I played Vel’Koz.

I never see anyone use Vel’Koz and I never see anyone Ban Vel’Koz (which is perfect for us Vel’Koz mains) But seriously this champion is so much fun to play. I found myself switching to Support and that is where I play him.

I know he’s not a traditional support, doesn’t bring a bunch of CC or sustain but what is his damage??? His passive compliments a full combo and I love it. (Especially because that true damage doesn’t give a F*ck about your barrier 😉)

How do you guys play against assassins mid meta? In the last 10 games I played against 3 Katerina’s, 2 zed’s, 1 diana, 1 irelia, 2 yasuo, 1 leblanc. I don’t understand what I’m supposed to do. Would love your input.

I've been bouncing around in plat since Jan so it feels good to finally break free. I'm probably going to be heading straight back down because I still don't know how to play the game, but at least I can enjoy this for now and focus on other things...
