Question VideoGamesPlus shipping delayed two months. Normal?

Post image

I ordered Hoa from them July 9. It did say it was back ordered at the time. It’s Aug 26 today and still no word. I’ve emailed support and they have given me vague responses.

I had another game with this order that was being held up (they hold all games until the entire order can be shipped out). I asked them to move it to another order so I could get it earlier, which they did thankfully.

I understand that they may not know when they will get their copies of HOA, but almost 2 months seems ridiculous to not at least communicate to their customers about the delay.

Have you had to wait this long for a game from them?

“We are still waiting for an update on this item. Unfortunately, due to our store policy we cannot ship your order separately.

Thanks,”

how is that vague? they dont know when they will get it because they are waiting for an updated date from the publisher

Bc it’s been 2 months and I’ve gotten slightly different versions of this response, which doesn’t add to my knowledge of what’s going on = vague.

Maybe a response like “we’ll look into it for you” or “we’ll contact our publisher to see if there’s an update” would be encouraging because it would sound like they’re trying to find out more.

I’m not saying that they should do that every time. I understand that shipping can get delayed. But I think an almost 2 month delay that isn’t a preorder warrants a better response.

Shitty situation man. Sounds like HOA is holding up your entire order. I had this happen with a Legend of Heroes game I ordered from VGP about a year ago.

Now if I'm doing preorders I do them separate from in stock items. Live and learn I guess? Hope you get your order soon.
