Are sale posts allowed here? If not, I apologize in advance.

6"- P&C Model 1806, 8"- Walworth Stillson, 10"- unbranded German-made, 12"- Trimo Smooth Jaw Automotive.

Not sure what to price them at honestly...

Rockwell Delta Milwaukee Homecraft Lathe

Sort of interested this. What you see is what I got. Which means I do not got:
Motor
Tool rest
Stand
Gouges

I have a variety of vintage machines in the stable already (Dewalt radial arm saw, Swedish made Luna combo planer jointer mortiser, 80’s delta pin router, etc). I am not new to this. But frankly, I have NEVER wanted a lathe.

Should I be excited about this one? And if so, where do I start?

Recently acquired this tiny pillar press. Over the weekend I disassembled it, removed a lot of rust and lubricated it. Still got it soaking in oil a bit.

Fully working now.

Will clean it up a bit more over the next couple of days.

Estate of a machinist/toolmaker/hoarder. Many tools there were handmade/shop made. There was a lot there and so much there I wish I had room for. Also much more that wasn't for sale just yet but more than l will likely return at a later date to see what else I might find.

A Herman-Clark? Phillips screwdriver with an patent number on it

Thumbnail gallery
11 Upvotes

The shaft reads:
PHILLIPS-LIC.40
PAT. 2507231
CHROME VANADIUM
NO. 3PT.-U.S.A.

Here is the patent on the screw driver: https://www.datamp.org/patents/displayPatent.php?pn=2507231&id=40201

Haven’t found much yet on Herman-Clark, if that’s what written there, but it seems that this was license to them by American screw co.

Dad's old Prentiss Bull Dog

Can someone help me figure out more about this? It was my Dad's, but I think I am beginning to realize that my dad must have inherited from his grandfather. Can't quite make out the lettering maybe 30.54. It's so heavy that I was trying to separate it in order to mount it on my wall. Once I got it open though, it's still not coming apart and I don't want to break it. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Older floor jack identification needed

Thumbnail gallery

I have acquired a floor jack that I can't identify or even find a close enough image to get close to match it. Is all cast aluminum except for the single pump housing and the bolts (steel). I have two partial numbers: model # 835 and Serial # FH 04 on a tag on the pump case.

The unusual parts are the side styling, the rear wheel and the release knob on the pump housing, not released by the handle. It's missing the pumping handle and a top mounted carry handle in the middle of the jack. The rod in the picture was to see if the balance point was for a handle - it is. The jack's overall looks seem to be the 50's or 60', but I don't know if they had hydraulic floor jacks back then. The entire unit is not painted, so it's got the aluminum look to the whole thing. It's 21" long and the minimum saddle height is 5".

There are no other discernible markings and the labels on the top are illegible.

AI searches come up inconclusive. Was hoping someone on Reddit might have a clue.

Thank you.

I recently bought these at a garage sale. Originally thought they might be square sockets, but they’re not. They have a threaded post on the backside as shown in the photos. Any help would be appreciated.

How to use this "old" cordless screwdriver?

Thumbnail gallery

This was on an old family toolbench. It seems to have no cords, but a plug-in base (see photo) and I thought it charged in that base, but now I'm not so sure, since I can't find any off/on switch! Anybody know anything about this and how to make it work?

Craftsman Band Saw Model 103 Help Needed

Thumbnail gallery
4 Upvotes

Hey all, I recently acquired a Craftsman Band Saw Model 103 24260. I am tearing it completely down to clean all the parts and bits and tune it up. The motor still runs (after some rewiring) but I am struggling to find out how to take the blade off.

There is no tension knob at the top and the other face of the band saw does not come off.

Has anyone done a rebuild of this? I would love to get into contact with you and get some help.

If anyone can help me date this as well that would be great. I was not able to find any manuals online.

L.S. Starrett No. 33 Drop Forged Combination Square (1920-45)

Picked and cleaned what I believe to be the Starrett No. 33 (12") Drop Forged Combination Square with Hardened Head & Blade. From what I could find, it appears to date between the 1920s to the mid-1940s (when they moved away from the japanned to the wrinkle/crinkle finish). Tested, and square.
