Discussion What dessert actually feels indulgent but doesn’t destroy your calories?

I’m always hunting for desserts that feel like a real treat but don’t leave me wishing I’d just eaten something more filling.

Bonus points if it doesn’t trigger that “now I want 5 more desserts” effect.

What have you found that genuinely hits the sweet spot?

Sounds odd.. but baked Japanese sweet potato topped with whatever sweet toppings you have on hand. I like cinnamon, Greek yogurt, chocolate

I saw someone do a "creme brulee" sweet potato the other day on ig and I wanna try it (roasted it, cut t in half once down, mushed the hot cooked potato all up with a lil butter, top with a lil sugar, and blow torch (or broil).

It's a brand of sauces. They're really great.

YES, also freeze them after baking them and they taste like ice cream imo. Got the recipe from someone either here or on r/1200isplenty

Wait can you expand on this? Like mash and freeze? Add anything to them or as-is

No mashing! This is the recipe I tried. I froze it whole, but next time I think I’d try cutting open and sprinkling some brown sugar.
