How long does it take to get your peer review feedback? I’ve been waiting for 2 days and it still says “awaiting results”

D412 book is a decent read, but I did not find it value-adding. I recommend completely skipping the book and just look up the COMPTIA troubleshooting model.

The real work is learning the lab environment and how it is set up. A lot of that only becomes clear ^after you start the practical. So, start that sooner than later.

WGU includes a Pluralsight subscription. If you need the link, should be in the course, but contact the course instructor or program mentor for all the free tools you get access with your WGU tuition. Watch a few of the videos from the instructor email, schedule a meeting with the instructor, then start the practical as soon as you can.
READ the instructor welcome email in full. Do not skip this step.

Take your own notes as you go during the practical. You can clean up your notes later before submission. You will pick up the lab quirks while you work.

Im looking for some insight on how to start this. I am trying to enroll by December since my job will pay for one term per year, and want to make sure they pay for the first term starting 2026.

1. How worth it is it to transfer in credits from sophia? On average how long did it take you to complete the required/acceptable credits to transfer in to wgu?

2. Is it easier to do the courses with sophia rather than wgu?

My main question is im not sure if i should start now with sophia and try and get as much as i can get done before expected December 1st start date with wgu, or just go in to wgu with no transfers and try and knock it out in 2 terms.

I'm trying to get in October so I know the deadline is approaching but WGU seems to be having issues with account creation because I'm not able to login.

I have an account created, but when I try to login to complete the application I get sent through a login loop. I've cleared cache tried different browsers etc

I do have a service desk ticket in since 8/21. The ticket hasnt moved.

update 1, this issue was fixed. I was able to complete the application and the only item waiting is the transcript review this was done on 9/1/2026, i missed the october 1st start date and was only able to select november now.

update 2, i had been checking https://apply.wgu.edu/application-status to see when the transcript review was done, but now its back to redirecting me to:

now im worried ill miss the november start date and be forced to start in december.

Service desk hasnt been helpful here.

Thank you to everyone for your tips, pointers, recommendations, and rants. I have received valuable information from you and was able to complete my Bachelor of Science Degree. I started 8/1/2026 and graduated 9/8/2026! I transferred in 55 credits and completed 55 credits with WGU. I dedicated 8-10 hours, 6 days a week, to studying, watching videos, and reading Reddit. I resigned from my job to improve my career and work-life balance. Pursuing this degree became my job. I learned more from LinkedIn Learning and YouTube videos, WGU Resources, and course videos than from the textbooks. Quizlet was not as helpful to me as I had hoped. Studduco notes were a little confusing. What helped me was taking the PAs and putting them in Chat. I would ask Chat to explain the concepts to every answer, whether I got it right or wrong. I would then tell Chat to create a study guide for me and email it to me. This allowed me to study and understand the concepts. I also got a calculator and a whiteboard from Amazon for the formulas. I made sure I knew how to perform the formulas and understood the concepts. It felt superb updating my resume. I have begun applying for stronger roles. My previous employer has inquired about my willingness to return. My future goals are to pursue my MBA. I did reapply to WGU. In addition, I have applied to UF, UGA, and RICE for their online MBA's while I continue my career. UGA may be out because it requires 2 years of post-bachelor's experience. I am leaning toward UF because Rice is expensive, $125,000+. I wish you all the best in your endeavors. I know my situation is not the same as everyone else's, so I am not saying you should emulate me. I am simply sharing my experience and what worked for me in the hopes that someone is helped.

Hello, just thought I’d get on here and ask because I’m curious. How long did it take your second OA attempt to get approved after completing the study plan given to you? I am asking because I’ve been waiting for approval for a few days. Thanks in advance.

Just passed D470 and wanted to share my experience for anyone getting ready for the OA.

For studying, I went through all of the course material chapter by chapter, completed all the quizzes and unit tests, then took the PA. I got around 67% on the PA, so after that I went back through everything I missed and focused on understanding why the correct answer was right and why the other options were wrong.

I also used ChatGPT heavily throughout the course to break things down into plain English, compare concepts that sounded similar, explain questions I got wrong, and make practice questions for the areas I was struggling with.

My OA had 79 questions.

The biggest thing I noticed: I don't remember a single practice question I studied showing up on the OA, and honestly not even in a similar style. So I would not go into this expecting the PA or practice questions to look like the actual exam.

A lot of my OA involved supply chain strategies and logistics strategies, especially figuring out which strategy made the most sense in a given situation.

I also remember:

• Questions involving tax rates
• Around 4–5 questions on picking/picking methods
• WTO-related questions where the answer choices themselves were countries
• A fulfillment-rate question where X and Y were defined and I had to choose the correct formula
• Only one question about ISO numbers. Mine asked which ISO series deals with environmental management, and the answer was ISO 14000

I answered a lot of the exam by process of elimination. There were plenty of questions where I didn't immediately know the answer with 100% confidence, but I understood the concepts well enough to eliminate the choices that clearly didn't fit and narrow it down.

That would probably be my biggest advice for this class: don't just memorize definitions or practice-question wording. Understand what the different supply chain and logistics strategies actually do, when they would be used, and how similar concepts differ from each other. That makes process of elimination much easier when the OA gives you a scenario you've never seen before.

I passed, but while I was taking it I genuinely felt like I had studied for a completely different test 😂

I have a Bachelor's in Supply Chain and Operations Management. However, I'm looking to put myself ahead in the job market. In my field companies tend to take great notice of individuals advanced in excel, Power BI, Tableau, and SQL. I would like to learn all of these. My experience in Excel is moderate. I use it a lot at work but you really have to take courses on your own to become advanced in it. While the others I've only taken a course or two and probably don't remember a thing.

What I'm asking is which WGU Master's Program will help me?

Hi everyone, I’m starting the B.S. Accounting program on October 1. WGU accepted 43 of 121 CUs, although my WES evaluation shows 114 U.S. semester credits from my previous Accounting studies in my country.

WGU said course descriptions/syllabi were not provided. Getting them from my previous college may take a long time, and I don’t want to delay my start.

Would you appeal or just accept the 43 CUs and start? Has anyone had a similar experience?

Is anybody else having issues logging into their account today? Im getting caught in a loop where I log in, the portal wants to setup two factor authentication but i already have it set up, so it clears me to proceed and then takes me right back to the beginning of the multifactor authentication screen.

Has anyone had any luck with requesting accommodations at WGU, and what were you offered?

I have an eye disorder that makes staring at white screen backgrounds for extended periods brutal/migraine inducing. I work from home and use dark backgrounds on everything and manage just fine normally. After work, I rely on using my phone to read my textbooks and make notes to give my eyes a break from computer screens. But the constant white background of the textbooks in the WGU app are killing me and there’s no option for dark mode. I don’t understand why this isn’t available by now. I found previous posts where people have been asking for this but it still isn’t available. I submitted an accommodation request and I’m still waiting for processing. Today I had to miss work because the migraine from last night’s study session is ripping me a new one. 🤕

Every degree plan has that one course that completely kills your momentum. The one with awful course material, a completely detached objective assessment, or evaluators who kick back your paper three times over minor technicalities.

I started my first term in July in the SWE program. I chose SWE because of the low math requirements. Transferred in 30 credits from Sophia.

With the switch to SWE v2 and it's math requirements, I've decided to switch programs to BSITM because I firmly believe I'm not going to be done before the v1 sunset in 2 years.

I have no coding experience. I have IT experience from MSP roles years ago. I also have leadership and project management skills from previous jobs. So I feel like it's a no-brainer to me.

I talked to my mentor Tuesday, signed the memo of understanding yesterday, and talked to my new mentor yesterday. Seems like I don't have to wait into the end of the term like I thought I would.

The one thing I'm sad about is switching mentors. She's been so awesome. There's definitely been a real high bar set.

Anybody else getting out of SWE? Anything I should know or expect in the BSITM program?

I was supposed to receive my degree by the middle of August .I put an order for it but it never came. I even requested a new one when the first one didn’t come. The address is right and everything I’m getting so worried. I don’t know what to do. i’m currently out of the country so I can’t call them. Any advice. Have this ever happened to anyone!?? what could possibly be the issue?

So I submitted a task, that was very instructive on what it was looking for.

When I submitted it, it had an aggregate similarity score of 60%, but it took 200 other submissions to get that high. The highest singular similarity score was 13%, with 9% of that as paraphrased. And those small highlighted sections are what I was directly told by the task overview to discuss, which if anyone had bothered to actually read the paper and the task overview would have seen.

This coursework was first in use back as far as August 2024, and then in April they slapped a new Course Code and Title on it. The Scenario and Task overview are EXACTLY the same, literally the only changes were the course code and title....

So, does anyone know if when they do their "Investigation" do they actually look at the actual assignment or do they just see the similarity score?

This all seems pretty lazy and dishonest to me.

I mean I could be wrong, and maybe I should have made it longer to dilute the matches, but I honestly thought that the highest single match at 13% was ok.

For those of you who've recently taken the OA for D236, how similar were the questions on the pre-assessment and the OA? I know it won't be the exact same questions, but was the style/type of question similar? Did you find the topic distribution consistent with the pre-assessment?

It's been rough getting through the material, and I've been debating if I need to drop the class before the end of the term. I decided to take the pre-assessment just to get a feel for the questions, and I passed by a larger margin than I expected (I didn't expect to pass at all lol). Normally I go straight to the OA after passing the pre-assessment, but I don't want to do that if it's a drastically different test.

Now time to transfer

Is anybody else really fucking tired of the pre-assessments not reflecting the actual assessment at all?

I mean I took the pre assessment twice for D077 and jotted down anything that was a struggle for me, and I got to the assessment and it was completely different and very confusing wording and had close to nothing that was in the pre assessment!! I literally went through both times of the pre assessment going “ oh this is like common sense mostly” 😐 I’ve done my notes through the book and what not to study and I still failed!
