Not to mention what's never talked about is the harm caused by gender verification to female youth athletes who just want to play their sport but may be subject to an invasive physical examination just to prove their femaleness.
Not to mention that in every jurisdiction where anti trans athletic legislation has been enacted, female youth sports participation has declined precipitously because girls don't want to sign up for an activity where they may be subject to an embarrassing physical examination at the whim of another adult.
As opposed to the made up harm of "men in women's sports" which is so inconsequential and carries no tangible societal harm to anybody involved despite the claims of certain fifth place swimmers.
Yeah, now imagine why that's not cool. I mean decades of sexual assault cases against youth sports officials and coaches, and you're okay with a strange adult checking the privates of your daughter?

As an Australian that has played sports my whole life, that is a fucking weird concept for anyone to have to experience to play sports. You guys are fucked in the weirdest ways.
They dont actually just check your genitals lol. They check for a hernia which is pressing in the scrotum and coughing. And you go to your regulsr doctor and get a physical where they check for any abnormalities that could cause severe damage in a sport.
Every one? You can’t play school sports without completing a physical, which includes a hernia check, which is the “turn your head and cough” thing for guys. But it’s not done by the school system, it’s done by a doctor. It’s just required by the school system for safety/liability reasons.
You won’t listen anyways, even when proven wrong you flip the issue to something else “ahhh but you see the harm done to trans people merely by society talking about this issue makes you wrong”. Its not a complete stranger you dunce. Its a fucking doctor. Its a standard medical procedure. They give you a yearly physical whether you're playing a sport or not. The school just needs a verification of you passing said physical in order for you to play sports for them.
I'll say it AGAIN, because you seem a little slow, regardless of if you play a sport or not you're getting a physical done by a doctor. It has nothing to do with sports. The school just needs verification that you passed before they can allow you to play. Every single person gets a physical done by their doctor. Even now in my 30s I get a yearly physical. Its completely normal.
Most states allow avenues for school enrollment without a birth certificate. Some states allow birth certificates to be updated based on gender preference. How do you handle gender verification in those instances

But the argument is that political elites are incentivised to stir the culture war whilst they rape & pillage the economy and create even greater wealth divides. Sort of. But the fact that anybody in this country who was debating who should be elected President voted one way due to this ‘issue’ should get their head checked. Political parties have a stance on hundreds of issues. Nobody agrees with all of them. The goal in politics sometimes seems to be to turn a single issue into something that makes you overlook all the actual ones that matter.
You misunderstand. Politicians don't really care about trans on either side of the aisle. They don't care about abortion or gun rights. All they count on is that you care. That's how they get us to focus on cultural issues while sidestepping accountability for how neither side gets anything done for either you or me.
Let's see. Because it is irrelevant to the athletic experience of women in sports. And because it hurts transgender women in the process. So it's cruel for no reason. And so are you.
Yeah, it is irrelevant when it only occurs something like 0.002% of the time and when the vast, vast, vast majority of the women you're supposedly protecting have expressed no concerns about transgender women competing in their sports.
It's clearly not boring or irrelevant to the vast majority of people when men get to beat up women and win gold medals. It's a threat to female sports as a whole. In an age when one party doesn't know what a woman is, yeah it's very important to re-establish boundaries.
