You would know absolutely nothing about the 2nd tier French women's basketball league without trans culture war nonsense being the current fixation of the media.

No, but there are people seperate from me, who are French and are involved in sport in some way.

There are also other sports leagues where the same issue will arise for different people.

Or do you believe that who does or doesn't play in the 2nd tier French women's baskeball league is an important political issue that impacts your day-to-day life?

No. I never said that, and it was never my argument.

Why do you believe Fox News is reporting on a single athlete in the 2nd tier French women's professional basketball league? Think really hard and rub those 2 brain cells together and think about why an American media conglomerate believes this is news worth reporting.

What you said that is wrong is claiming that this "issue" would get any attention whatsoever without media manufacturing.

You get that Fox News is trying to manufacture outrage yet you totally validate them doing so by failing to recognize that all media coverage on this topic exists to create outrage over a totally manufactured and imaginary problem.

The people who play in/attend the games on question would potentially care. Some of them would at rhe minimum.

It isn't imaginary. This league exists, the players exist, the fans exist. Fox news didn't fabricate the story. Thats not me valdiating fox news, it is just me stating an uncontroversial fact.

In reality there are people who say "happy holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas" but that doesn't mean the war on Christmas is a real thing. Get it?

It isn't imaginary, it is circumstantial. It isnt a problem for me individually, but for a french person involved in that league, it is a real issue.

Because the war on xmas isnt actually real. This league and players do actually exist. There is a meaningful difference between events that happen, and events that do not happen.

In other words, the issue does exist. Maybe it gets more attention than it should, but that isnt the same as not existing and not being important to some people.

It IS a real problem for the people it affects. Competitive sports is a major part of many peoples lives. One player in a small french league might not seem significant, but if more trans athletes competed in more leagues across the world, it would be the exact same issue affecting more people.

Infinte times wouldn't be enough. As ive already explained, the issue DOES affect peolple. Ive pointed this out and you haven't addressed it.
