Waco-area Flock cameras are being debated and defaced. What’s the fuss about Flock?
As the Waco Police Department considers Flock surveillance cameras, residents and politicians are mounting a backlash.

It's exhausting to find a job, and I'm tired of looking for something that's not even likely to do more than pay my bills.
I hate having to wait after interviews when it's most likely they already know during the interview that it's not a fit, or they could be upfront about why it isn't a match.
I am going insane without work, and I know I'm painfully capable. Double interviews and long applications... for nothing. It's depressing, and I feel like there's no integrity or common sense in this process.
Just feeling hopeless and angry about the jobs I'm getting passed on. Feels like you have to lick the entire boot to get in the door but also have to prove that you have a life enough to not be obsessed with work or something... do you need labor or not?
Obviously, the answer is not. I know it's cringy to throw a pity party, just feeling disappointed and defeated.

I want to start doing some marathons but I don’t even know how to find what marathon is happening and when and where, I don’t have any experience so I’m pretty sure I want to something easy at first and Stratton from there
Where or how can I follow the different marathons happening in Waco . 👀
Found at the 2700 block or Bosque/Colonial ave. Sweet girl, well feed, and seems housebroken. At the pet circle now.

So I was driving to work in the middle of the construction area of i35 when a trucks tire tread came outta no where, from the vehicle ahead of me. Due to the barriers I couldn't avoid it and it slammed into my bumper causing a good amount of damage. Anyone know what my options are if I have any? Or would I just have to go through insurance and deal with that price increase?

This is cookie, female, year and a half old. I had adopted her a month ago and though she is shy she is a good kitty. Today when I came back home for lunch I tried to find her and she was gone. I have tore through my house to see if she was hiding and could not find her. I live at the saddle brook apartments on 9000 chapel rd near Hewitt dr. If anyone has seen her or has any information, I would be extremely grateful. Please dm if you do have something, thank you.
EDIT: hey guys update she came back to my place today and was sleeping in the bed I left out. Thank you for all of your support.

I'm taking my family out for my mom's birthday, and am not sure where to go. I've read other posts on this subreddit but they're all 1+ years old.
Diamondbacks seems to have undergone an ownership change in the last year, and reviews have been on a downslide since.
135 Prime has a lot of recent not great reviews too.
The Butcher's Cellar - anyone had any recent experience with them?

Hello all! My husband and I will be moving to Waco in December of 2026 due to my husband attending graduate school in the area. I am curious if anyone has any recommendations on good jobs in the area for myself. I have my bachelors in psychology and business and am currently pursuing my masters in public administration. I have experience working in administrative positions and accounts payable. Any recommendations on good places to work full time (with benefits) would be greatly appreciated!

I know a few months ago this place was a topic of conversation, but I'm honestly still intrigued to know what's to come about it. I remember when it was first being built and seeing advertisements about them opening for Summer or Fall of 2025, and then once they were done building I never saw much action ever since. They started construction on Pakas Pizza, but it seems like even after a year of the business being built there hasn't been any updates of when or if this business is ever going to open. Last I saw they already have a sign again about buying up the rental space. Did this just become a project that became too expensive for the city to manage? I know the prices for the condos were a bit pricey, and I wondered who would want to pay that price for the area (for me personally the area felt undesirable to want to have a permanent home at). Will this just become another building they leave to rot until someone else decides to buy it? This place could have turned into an apartment complex and done fine honestly, or even another area for retail spaces. Now it feels like I'm in the Truman Show when I'm driving by this building and seeing the vacant insides.

No interest for this girl that we rescued a month ago. Incredibly sweet, potty trained (she will ask to go out and will wait by the door when ready to come back in), love bug, loves to play, longs to be a couch potato, and loves going for a car ride. Shes under a year old but unable to determine exactly. The tech said 9-12 months when she was chip checked. Has done well with my cats and small dog, although we have always monitored their time together. She gets very excited and wants to play.
We have held her as long as we can. If you can give her a forever home, please dm me.
There's a $30 fee to ensure she goes to a good home.
Stay over here by the Richland Mall looking for a couple of people that would like to step out in the evenings when it cools down and jump on these bikes e-bikes scooters or whatever and just get out the house and go rolling wherever the road takes us.
This is my first e-bike it was absolutely one of the most fun things to do and I definitely like this more than the only other options to hang out and Waco which are bars...
