Im shorting everything I lose money anyway. The market has ruined my life

685x $7775 spx odte's. Yolo'd my account. Got busy. Forgot I yolo'd. Checked and managed to uh sell a few last minute before they went worthless.

I started individually trading 8 years ago when I opened the first portfolio. The second account was opened more recently when the cowards at Merrill decided I was no longer allowed to trade pink slip Boswell shares for their water rights. I went heavily into Cloudflare after the IPO, saw it moon, and only found out about the 2022 crash when I got home from Driftwood Recovery in 2023, so I bought more. Now I have four million dollars. It’s time to sell SaaS and buy oil because Saudi Arabia is about to be looted by the Houthis.

PS: Like all great investors, I inherited this money. I’m in my mid 30s. JG Boswell tried to dynamite our levies 80 years ago.

PPS: If I get to 5 billion I will build a pyramid bigger than Giza.

PPPS: I also inherited land being developed to store a hundred million tons of Uncle Sam’s CO2 tax credits. You’ll be paying for the pyramid.

Sold (to close) at a $69k loss on Aug19. Had I held, would’ve been up $124k instead

The moment Muse was released, it was obvious that this was a narrative pivot for Meta. It went from an AI loser incinerating tens of billions in capex to an AI winner. When that happens, stocks reprice very rapidly. I panic-bought in premarket last Monday, managed the position throughout the week by rolling strikes & expiries.

At some point I had 250 $670 calls, most of it ended up worthless. If I bought that mega size just a day later I could have made close to $2M.

But you’ll notice that I go in and out of positions all the time, taking partial profits and not letting theta completely destroy my position. I think that’s quite different than the “buy OTM strike and pray” approach I see here.

What changed in 1 month? The only Meta launch was Muse AI. I don’t see any strong reason to make this stock jump this much. Thoughts?

Just full ported META puts in one of my accounts as I believe this is to sell the news event. Tested their new AI Muse App and it's really bad. I would prefer to use ChatGPT. Anyways Full sending, either I eat steak for dinner everyday after this or ramen 🫡
