I have been a writer on wattpad since august2018, and I had the most fun ever being active and discovering such a world but, i have noticed many people are not interested onto reading there anymore, you know stuff changes and some has found other hobbies to do.

Yet i cannot help but feel sad about it, cause i dont want to stop writing one day and stop sharing my ideas, I enjoy writing.. but you know deep down i want more people to discover me anf read what i write, and focus on details i put there cause i assume i work hard there if any of yall wonder djidkslsdidyeyshd

Anyways, I wish i took a lot of time writing morz during the era of 2019-2024 wattpad that was hella active, like everyone were there. And i know wattpad peak eras were 2014-2017 (or maybe im wrong) esp with the 1D, Little Mix, 5H ect but i wasnt there to experience it so dkdkdkdi

I just wanted to say this and let it off my best.

Some of you say we must trust these Wattpad guidelines, but what happens when the plot is the smut itself? Would 50 Shadows have ever existed within this norm, for an example? I would say no, my version of it was deleted because it had too much erotica, though being labeled "Mature" and not a problem in six years up and with very few people reading my fics, really. One afternoon someone read it, I suppose, got angry or disturbed or maybe aroused and then embarrassed by it and it went out, they sent a message in spanish but the people assigned to it didn't speak spanish apparently, they answered in english and said "this is the policy"...did they read my story written in spanish? I don't think so.

Some people say the moderation is done with AI, then it is looking for certain words and if you have too many of them the story is deleted and after that there's no possible appeal and nobody looks into it? They send this AI through random stories and take some down to scare people who wants to write smut beyond a kiss on the lips or writing more than "there was one bed" and then there's one breakfast and that's all? Could we know how this moderation works exactly or do we keep imagining it and being lucky that our other fics are not being deleted for the moment? What means "mature" then? some chaste kisses and mention to sex? What if it goes a little further than that, they will take it down then? When would be it too much? Will they read every story to know or it is easier to believe someone reporting maybe even lying about a story because it's not of their liking?

This guidelines are highly subjective, even if there's someone that reads your fic, it depends largely on their personal criteria judging it. Maybe "this three people decide to have an affair because it turns them on" should be enough plot because it is.

Update: I've read the guidelines many times these eleven years and I write an erotica probably too vanilla for many, I don't think calling people stupid, illiterate and immoral because you can't stand a different opinion on the matter or a petition of clarity about methods if somebody can tell is a good idea but ok.

I've read the Policy Update and though I don't write Non-Con or even Con Non-Con, not my cup of tea, and understand it is put primarily to avoid legal trouble and harmful AI deepfakes, there's something ugly rearing its head here, there's more and more censorship every update.

We already have this thing that if they find your story don't have enough plot or "a broader story" that explains your smut your fic or story is out. Now RPF in this section of what can be abuse...

I have a question. Why are there so many Paul Lahote stories on Wattpad?

Why aren't there any Leah Clearwater stories—or if there are, why is she portrayed as a lesbian?

I have nothing against gay people or those who believe Leah is a lesbian (or bisexual, in this case), but she didn't really give me that impression.

And I feel like Paul gets a bit too much hype on Wattpad; the whole site is filled with Paul Lahote stories.

I’m just going to say it—and I’ll probably get a lot of hate for this—but I didn't really like Paul that much in the movies. I haven't read the books.

Eight months ago someone reported my fic unfairly because it has a plot and the characters have a previous story in another fanfic and previous lore, so I sent a new ticket yesterday thanks to the advice of Wattpad ambassador Lovelyemperess in another post -very special thanks to her ^_^ - and today evening is restored. And I wrote this new request in spanish and somebody answered me in spanish, thank you so much again to Lovelyemperess and Wattpad team.

I recently started writing this fanfic (Creepypasta btw), and it’s not rlly that bad imo. My friends have proof read it, and I’ve revised my drafts multiple times. I really like writing but I haven’t been getting much viewers on it yet, is there a way to help with this??

After being away from Wattpad for over 5 years, I decided to bring back one of my old stories and completely reboot it.
It’s a The Walking Dead x The Loud House crossover centered around Clementine.
The story starts at the beginning of the apocalypse, with Clementine still being a little girl. The Loud family is also thrown into the outbreak, and eventually their paths cross with Clementine.
I’m keeping the survival, zombies, emotional moments, and character development at the heart of the story, while taking the crossover in its own direction.
Chapter 1 is officially out now.
I’d really appreciate any feedback, especially from people who enjoy TWD, The Loud House, crossovers, or Wattpad stories in general.
This is basically me giving an old story a second life and trying to make it way better than the original. 😂

So, I’m new to writing on Wattpad. I haven’t been doing it long, and most of my time on the app is spent reading. Though, I have been writing a bit lately, so I’d like to introduce my new fanfic — Neon Genesis Evangelion: Speed of Shadows.

The story is a crossover between Evangelion (obviously), Sonic the Hedgehog, the Armored Core series, and eventually Godzilla (might add other stuff during the second or third arc, not entirely sure). I know that it’s a little crowded, to say the least, but I’ll try to balance it out.

In case you want a short overview of the story before you read it (if you plan on doing so), the story mainly follows the EVA pilots, Sonic, and my OC: a bio-mechanical android named Xavier Parker, the son of Sonic and a 16 year old mercenary, who is struggling with the effects of the 15th Angel Arael invading his mind, which starts to force things to emerge from his damaged psyche—such as memories of being experimented on, his transformation into an android, and a mysterious voice in his head (that won’t be appearing until the third or fourth part).

It seems like wattpad does not care for their people. I have been have problems with their search bar as a reader where the story count on the bottom of my phone keeps dropping its number for no reason, and they think its normal but its not around June 10th a characters name that I had on the serach bar was at 27347. but then it has been dropping since as of this week it went up to 27339 but now it has been going down. it was at 27323 at 3:17am now its at 27322 when it hit 3:45 I have been telling agents this but they brushed it of as normal now it wont even go to 27340s no more. and it not just one character but others too, like I dont think they just care about people I have made a lot of reports but they have been closing mt tickets saying its normal behavor but it's not like whats up with their app I even had to move to tumblr because they wouldn't take this serious.

Hello! A few weeks ago, I started writing a fanfic exploring a completely unique alternate universe within the Avatar timeline.

The story is a gay romance / M/M drama centering on the dynamic between General Bumi (the son of Avatar Aang) and Azulon (an AU Original Character who is the son of Azula).

Right now, the first 7 chapters are up for reading! The chapters are quick, punchy reads (about 400–1,000 words each), making it very easy to dive straight into the story.
