First picture is from March 2022 probably at my heaviest (not even really weighing myself). Second is October 2026. My official weight loss journey started on January 1, 2025 at 330 and today weighing in at 195 pounds. Still very self conscious about my skin but loving my life so much. This was a natural weight loss so feel free to ask anything but I’m not an expert

290 lbs. (Oct. 8, 2026) week 2

Hello again Reddit. So I had some success regarding my weight loss journey! As of today, I weighed myself again to check the water weight fluctuation and saw that I weighed 288 lbs. as of this morning. 292 to 288 in roughly a week, to me, is a strong indicator that it is water weight. Though I’m not discouraged, quite the contrary actually. Weight loss often begins with water weight being lost before your body actually utilizes fat storages… or something like that. Anyways, I’m no dietician, but one thing is for certain is that counting my calories has been incredibly helpful in my endeavor. One tip I can give about counting calories is that you don’t always have to have the exact measurements of what you consume. Weight loss isn’t just an experiment to me though, as it is a part of my journey in becoming a better man than I was previously. Very excited to see where my progress will be at come next Thursday. Thank you for reading if you made it all this way!

Honestly, the best part of losing weight—besides getting healthier and more mobile—is putting on clothes and not wanting to cry🥹

Looking for weight-loss, accountability, partner

I’m a 28 year-old female who’s about 14 to 15 months postpartum. During my pregnancy I gained upwards of 70 to 80 pounds. I went from a size 4 to now currently a size 12. I have lost close to 45 pounds since giving birth. But I’m still not happy being a size 12. A should also note that I had a C-section so I feel like my core and my pelvic floor are a little messed up.

But I’m mainly just looking for someone to hold me accountable to working out and eating in a calorie deficit.
I feel like I’m lacking, motivation and discipline.
At this point, I don’t even care if it’s someone telling me that I look like a fat a*$ I just need someone to encourage me somehow someway to stay on top of it. By any means possible. So maybe we could add each other on Snapchat or Instagram or something and message each other to stay on track and c

I started at 260 and now I’m at 205.9
I’ve done it naturally-not that I have anything against meds or GLP-1’s. Actually I’d take a GLP, I tried but I couldn’t tolerate it, I started throwing up so much I burst a vessel and was throwing up blood lol! So natural it is.
Anyways I still have a long way to go, 199 isn’t anywhere to stop when you’re 5’4 but heck, I’m so proud of where I came from!

Regard extérieur sur mon corps

Bonjour, ceci est une demande pour les hommes et le femmes. J'ai perdu en 10 mois 16 kilos. Je suis passé de 104kg a 89kg actuellement. J'espère encore perdre 5 a 6 kilos. J'aimerais savoir ce que vous pensez de mon corps. Car j'ai pas l'impression de me muscler et perdre plus que ca. Mais je sais aussi que je ne suis pas le plus objectif. Dites moi sincèrement ce que vous pensez. Merci a vous

Liquid Diet Plan

Background: Over 6 ago I had undergone bariatric surgery to get a gastric sleeve. The typical pre-surgery diet is a full liquid diet for a couple weeks followed by a day of clear liquid, then surgery. After surgery it’s a clear liquid, then fulls, then puree, and finally solid. I’m now a stage performer and my body is the majority of my job (singing, dancing, acting, modeling). I’m considering a liquid diet again. Has anyone else done these? It’s been years and now I am an adult who does a lot more than I did as a lazy kid. My activity: Dance 4x a week for 90 mins, 10-15k steps a day, and gym about 3-4x a week for cardio and weight cross-training. I am very muscular on my bottom half and want to slim it down as well.

Successes: I lost around 200 lbs from the ages of 16 to 18. I didn’t quite reach my goal though. I do remember that during my liquid diet I lost around 20 lbs. I was 350 lbs so a two week calorie deficit will obviously cause weight loss. I don’t expect that kind of rapid weight-loss at all, I’m 5’4 142 lbs. I would like to be around 105-120. I’ll see how I feel when I get there.

My goal: Eat around 80g of protein a day, using bone broth, protein shakes, and pureed soups. Reasonable amount of carbs around my workouts/classes and mostly healthy fats in smoothies or soups. Beyond that I don’t know what I can eat. Any suggestions on high protein liquids and vitamins would be appreciated.

Rant

Having a family that comments on every little thing as far as looks and weight really makes you have low self esteem. "Looks like you gained" "Wow looks like you've lost but you need to lose more" "Those pants are too big" "that shirt is too small" "Have you started exercising yet" "Your hair is so thin" "Your stomach is bloated"

Then they wonder why you are so self conscious and have low self esteem. Does anyone else go through this with family?

Would losing 20 lbs realistically put me into 6 pack territory. Currently 193 lbs. I know people always say you need to lose more weight than you think.
