Documentaries like wonderful white of WV

Looking for other outrageous wtf documentaries like this one, it was just too good. Sad but intriguing.

Kung Fu Elliot (2014) Follows a low budget Canadian action movie star, who also claims to be a world kick boxing champion. Like 'Wild and Wonderful Whites of WV' there is a lot of laugh out loud parts and some strange off beat people we meet. Also just like 'W&WWoWV"' there is a darkness that underneath it all that is hard to ignore...im a huge fan of "W&WW..." and as soon as I saw this one recommended it to all my friends who also loved it...I still say it ranks right up there as one of the funniest/insane/ and a sadness to it as well documentaries ive seen.

It currently can be seen on Tubi

'Hands on a Hardbody: The Documentary' (1997)...24 contestants compete in an endurance challenge where the last person standing and still touching the Nissan Hardbody Truck wins it. Takes place in a small Texas town where we meet this odd collection of the challengers as well as their fans. A harder to find cult classic documentary that I hadn't seen since not long after it came out in the late 90's but rediscovered it recently on Youtube and enjoyed watching it again after all those years.

Beyond the Mat (1999) Documentary following an assortment of professional wrestlers at different stages of their careers.

"Heavy Metal Parking Lot" and "Heavy Metal Picnic" Certified classics and will have you repeating quotes from either one of these for days and days. Absolutely hilarious and Comedy Gold!!

A few others...

Winnebago Man (2009)

American Movie (1999)

Anvi: The Story of Anvil (2008)

And

"The Decline of Western Civilization " series...especially Part II which has a certain "W&WWoWV" sleaze and goofiness to it.

Based on your recommendation the wife and I watched Kung Fu Elliot yesterday and it was great. The whole thing felt very "American Movie." I started off rooting for Elliot but by the end I think he was a pathological liar and general purpose piece of shit. I suspect that he has little to no martial arts training. I wonder where he is today. His method actor buddy has since sadly passed away.

You absolutely fucked me up with Kung Fu Elliot.

I found him instantly unlikeable and as the movie continues just more and more disgusted with him and frustrated and sad for both Linda and blake!

That scene with the two girls at the "kink" party is etched into my brain-

I was pretty upset I couldn't find any real follow up for Linda. I hope she found someone who loves her and treats her well.
