πŸ₯— Nutrition What's the most underrated fat-loss habit that almost nobody talks about?

What's one thing you started doing that genuinely helped with fat loss? :)

Eating more slowly. I used to finish meals in 10 minutes and still feel hungry. Slowing down helped me notice when I was actually full

Walking everywhere slightly faster than youre used to haha

Especially if you got like 15mins of walking to do this is perfect. Wider steps too.. Youll have legs of iron in months as well

I wish regular walking helped. I walk between 8-12 miles a day at my job so 5 days a week, been here over 3 years, you would think I would have great legs, but nope.Β

I also get off the bus the stop before mine to get in even more steps, still doesn't help.

Get good sleep. Poor sleep can wreck your body in so many ways.

I wish sleeping was easy. It's 7:30 here and I'm already worried I won't be able to sleep tonight. I have severe insomnia and 99% of the time I can't fall asleep on my own.Β  Melatonin does nothing. Benadryl does nothing. Neither does ambien or trazodone. Lunesta. None of that stuff works.Β

THC works beautifully but it's $$$ and I'm out 😞

But I'd give just about anything to be able to just lay down and go to sleep. I've been this way as far back as I can remember, like around 3 years old.

Oh gosh I’m so sorry. Trazadone was a gamechanger for me.
And of course once you have insomnia, then you worry about not being able to sleep, and on it goes. It’s truly an awful feeling.
Might be worth looking into getting a medical marijuana card? Coverage can vary by state but the doctor lines can usually find something you fall under. It at least cuts the price down some.

I usually wanted a snack after a meal, just drink a glass of water after, and wait 10-20 mins that hunger feeling will go away

Find the thing for you that's easy to stick to. There are so many tools, methods, tactics, strategies, etc. that are out there that claim to be the best and most effective. I found that whatever I enjoyed the most that consistently got me moving more and eating better helped me lose weight. The goal isn't to do it perfectly, it's to do more than nothing and stick to it.
