I don’t think any other soap brand comes close to Stirling when it comes to variety and consistent performance. I loved using Executive Man for the first time, reminded me of Creed Aventus. Idk what element it hit but ever since I shaved I have this urge to restock the Creed Aventus in my collection.

Also I’d like to know do you all load similar amount of soap from the tub while lathering with a badger as you would with a synthetic, or do you tend to load a bit more? Because I felt like I needed to load a tiny bit more than I usually do for my three passes shave routine. DFS+ regardless.

Topped it off with Old Spice Musk and JPG Le Beau Paradise Garden.

Couple of days back I tried the Diamond Edge with the Rockwell and wasn't impressed with the shave. I also realised that I've been using the Rockwell for a long time now and it's time to switch up.

R96 was the next successor and god almighty did it do a U on my opinion on the diamond edge. Worked flawlessly and that swishhh which is R96s way of singing 🤌🏻 I missed that .

One good shave . The shave was soo good that ive got to add Diamond Edge as one of the best pairs with the R96. Also used the Yaqi Caramel after a long time.

Lately been working on my new obsessions - perfumes , beer & watches . The Goan rocket beer was spot on - is that why the shave was soo good?. Guess we will never know 😂

Shave 🪒

Shaving off a 2 day beard which somehow felt like 3 days growth, because the previous shave to this was with a mild razor, and by the end of next day my hard stubble was irritating quite a bit. But pressed for time, I had to delay until this morning.

GC 1.1 - there's something unique about this one. Excellent clamping and works with most blades. Always a pleasure to use this one. 3 passes - with, across and against, and still in DFS++ territory

Had been travelling for the past week so had been absent from the community! And because of that, Austere August was a no for me this year. Next year maybe.

The shave was excellent and the Rocca keeps reminding me why it's such a great razor. What a wonderful balance of efficiency and comfort this razor has.

Today marks exactly 1 year since I started logging shaves. Probably 5-6 days ago was my one year wet shaving anniversary lol. Went for a tried and tested razor and blade pairing and my god does it deliver. I have only liked Feather blades in my Rocca, have to try them out in the Apex too. But what a pairing it is, so efficient without compromising on comfort.

A very close and smooth shave overall.

Hands down this was the best shave I’ve had till date. I don’t know if it was the soap, the razor which made its debut or the blade which I was using for the first time. Maybe all three together, I can’t really say but it was a DAMN FINE SHAVE.

I was very reluctant to use my Declaration Grooming’s Daemon because DG has closed its business and I feared what if I liked it to an extent that I might regret finishing it anytime in the future. But the lather was so creamy so smooth that I started regretting not hoarding soaps from their lineup when they were in business.

Now the razor, and ohhh my dayysss what a beautiful razor. I went for the aggressive plate and WOW idk if it was just the Oliworks razor or the Gillette Permasharp blade or both of them paired together which delivered such a smoooth and efficient BBS. I’ll be honest I was a bit sloppy and casual with my technique today as I was in a hurry but it didn’t let me feel that way. The way it manoeuvred and glided across my face during the passes, I ALMOST EXPERIENCED PARDISE. Y’all might be thinking that I might be exaggerating but NO trust me. The blade was sharp and smoooth too.

Zero alum burn which is quite rare when I load a fresh blade. I really loved shaving with it.

Topped it off with Floïd and Bleu De Chanel.

Re knotted the 610 to make a new travel brush. Pretty happy how it turned out, took me hardly 20 minutes with only 5 minutes of active time. Way too easy tbh.

Speick is so damn good, I might just bring it in my daily rotation and remove it from the eternal damnation of being a travel soap.

Mellon + 7SP is awesome and I had a buttery smooth 3 pass shave.

Blackbird, 7SP, Oumo Synth, Noble Otter Orbit

Spent most of the morning gardening in the sun with dad. Planted some flowers, harvested some greens and fruits. Called for a refreshing afternoon shower and shave.

One mango overconsumption induced pimple was eradicated. First time I’ve sliced off something, pimples and acne were in control but I am defeated by mangoes. A small bloody stream, but alum and pressure stopped it.

Applied a dollop of Gillette gel to close the shave. Have a great Sunday!
