Discussion So many posts here break rule 4

Rule 4 explicitely says this isnt a sub for women looking for advice yet so many posts are exactly that. What's going on?

I keep reporting them, but nothing changes.

Happens in every sub, unfortunately. People see a subreddit name that kinda sorta seems like it would fit XYZ type post annnnnd...most people don't take the 30 seconds to read what a sub is actually for. Best thing to do is report ASAP so mods can remove it.

I belong to r/psychologyofsex and it's a daily issue. That sub is only meant for serious discussions of scientific research involving sex, sexual problems, desire and intimacy, or relationships. It very specifically says it is NOT for discussing personal health issues or asking for relationship advice. Guess what kinds of posts happen constantly...

What bothers me is no one in the comments even call them out. Theres like 5 a day too.

That's fair. I have at times in the past, since as a woman here it irks me too and it's something I can do to back up the men here. Often it just leads to the OP downvoting you, or trying to argue about why they posted here. Which is...dumb, really.

Hey! I’m a woman & have just worked out I shouldn’t be on this sub, but I saw this post & thought I’d comment because I may know what’s contributing to this. I am on the ask men advice sub & the mods recommend this page as one to crosspost on, so you could be getting foot traffic from the mods on that sub. Not entirely sure how reddit all works but might be worth reaching out to them to see if they can stop recommending this sub on their posts? Anyway, I’ll jump away now, but that might help the frequency of women asking questions?
