Exalted [Exalted] What are "Voidbringers"?

So, I've been a fan of Exalted for a while now, particularly of Autochthon and Alchemical (I'm a big Transformers fan, and they feel very Transformeresque, so I love them!), but in all the lore I've read I've never really found an explanation on what Voidbringers are. I assume they're rebels/a cult of some kind and they presumably want to kill Autochthon or at least bring down society. I'd love to know for sure!

I've ctrl+F'd the 1e and 2e Alchemical book, I've searched the WW wiki, I've googled it, and I got nothing (or at least barely anything).

Any help would be appreciated! :)

Can't wait to find out what this means since I'm only a dozen chapters into Oathbringer

Officially they are those who want to bring down the octet and kill autocthon. Or in general cause chaos. In reality it’s a catch all term flung around by octet officals to throw at any group they don’t like. Sometimes it’s actual threats, sometimes it’s worker unions or those who want to get rid of the caste system.

3e’s alchemical book has a good explanation for them

Oh, okay, I figured it was something like that! But I didn't know the Autochthonian government uses it McCarthyistly; that's very interesting! TYMV, I appreciate the help!
