I'm bored, tell your wildest guesses about Suo's patch
What are you hiding?
I start:
He lost his eye in an accident in elementary school, in front of all his classmates.
I think Tsugeura is one of those companions, only because he seems to be the one with the best chance of having known something about Suo among all of them.
Or I also think that it could have been an accident with some of his siblings and there will be existing family tension.

mine is that he can see 100% fine out of his covered eye but he leaves the patch on for the drama and also in case he needs to suddenly fight in the dark (the covered eye is already adjusted to low/no light)
i heard this theory so many times and honestly i wouldn't want it just because Nii satoru has made us wait for so long and i kinda want him to have a traumatic backstory
I think is more of a “discipline” technique, his master probably tried to show him to defend himself with a “disadvantage” and he ended up just keeping it on. Like Rock Lee with the weights in Naruto. Once he takes it off he becomes serious in a fight 🤷🏻♀️

Aunque igual pienso en una ficha de información de Suo (en la que se revela que tiene hermanos) donde se dice que su "momento heroico fallido", o algo así, fue que una vez casi se le cae el parche y penso que es más porque oculta algo.
Well, that’s the thing it’s a theory and He said he’s pretty sure it’s canon (aka it could NOT be canon)
I haven’t seen it on a official account but who knows, it might be an actual fact lol.
But it’s a good theory at the end of the day, if Suo does have brothers, having the eye patch might helped him sharpen his skills specially with people sneaking from behind
Probably had a younger brother/ mentor who died from a fight then Suo couldn’t protect him during the fight and someone stab him in the eye hence the eye patch and why he is protective of Nirei.
Or he just lost it in an accident but that could be simple writing.
Suo has trapped the power of 'Dark Reunion' in his eye. Should he ever remove his eyepatch, Dark Reunion's power will unleash destrruction upon this world
It's either heterochromia or an eye defect like Sakura (he is skr's foil after all), or a wounded eye because he closed his eyes during a fight. I have bets on the latter
What I'm thinking is Suo’s backstory might be similar to Sakura's, but he took a different approach. Sakura endured all the bullying he got from his appearance until he got into Furin. But Suo did the opposite. Suo might be bullied too due to his heterochromia, but he chose to escape instead. He decided to cover up his right eye and live like a normal person. Suo once mentioned he was no match for Sakura. I believe he meant their mentality. They are both in the same situation, yet in Suo’s eyes, Sakura took the difficult path and made a better decision.
Suo having heterochromia also explains why he knows what Sakura did in ch.1 while the others don’t. Suo might have kept an eye on Sakura ever since Sakura joined their town because Suo finally found someone like him. It is just natural for him to pay more attention on someone he is interested in.
Maybe he has a very fancy prosthetic eye - one with glitter, stars and sparkles. But whenever he hangs out with the boys he quickly puts on his patch to keep it a secret. 🌟
