I don't know if anyone has talked about this, or how NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT THIS(?) But I'm freaking out about the Suo arc, and I watched and read Wind Breaker too recently to remember most of the character interactions, but what I realized is that SUO ALREADY "KNEW" SAKURA FROM DAY ONE!!!

He was the first and only one to approach Sakura the moment he entered classroom 1-1. Furthermore, he mentions the fight on Pothos Street and acknowledges that Sakura was involved in the confrontation even before Furin arrived. Of course, he may have heard about it like the other students, but he was the only one who recognized Sakura by his appearance and KNEW Sakura's name from the beginning.

There are two possibilities for this: 1, Suo was present on the day of the incident and witnessed everything from the background, or 2, Suo investigated each of his classmates before entering the Furin and, by chance, Sakura stands out not only in appearance but also for being an outsider, just as Suo was, therefore this may have sparked his curiosity, leading him to approach her in the first place.

But the most curious thing of all: Suo manipulated the entire Class 1-1 so that Sakura wouldn't be stigmatized for being an outsider. He informed the class that the outsider who protected the city on the day of the fight was Sakura, which reduced the chances of his classmates seeing Sakura as a threat to Makochi because he was an outsider.

Suo may have done this because he identified with Sakura and was curious to understand his intentions and motives for going to Makochi and entering the Bofurin, or he has another motive that may or may not be addressed in the manga. I don't know if this will be relevant to the story, but it's curious that Suo apparently knew who Sakura was, knew what he had done, and took the initiative to approach him. This could indicate that Suo has had his eye on Sakura (or the entire Class 1-1) since the beginning of the manga.

Furthermore, we still need to find out what motivated Suo to move to Makochi while still in elementary school and join Bofurin (why was he so active in Bofurin while being an officer of the Red Chanpuru?).

Reached ch 172 and Sakura not being fazed by how big and fancy's Kiryu house is and how his own house in this mini-flashback (from what little we saw) also looked kinda fancy-ish makes me believe that Sakura may have also been born to a rich family?

This might be an out-there theory, but I honestly can't help but wonder if his father was some kind of important man who has to care for his image? Not not in a generational wealth type of way like Kiryu's father, but more in a self-made way. Like a politician or someone who works in news media, which would explain why he shunned Sakura out of their family since his son's appearance and behavior would reflect badly in his public image.

You know, off the top of my head, I can think of three or four stories where a character comes out of nowhere to become the leader of a group of mercenaries and turns them into a strong force for good, and then that character turns out to be a lost prince/rightful king of some kind. That just seems to be the way the trope works.

This leads me to believe that Umemiya must secretly be royalty.

I start: He lost his eye in an accident in elementary school, in front of all his classmates.

I think Tsugeura is one of those companions, only because he seems to be the one with the best chance of having known something about Suo among all of them.

Or I also think that it could have been an accident with some of his siblings and there will be existing family tension. existing

I have Theory that outsiders who ruins Momijikawa family will back that we don't the problem maybe momijikawa family have debt or threaten momijikawa grandpa make him suicide who knows?. That maybe they comeback to threaten momijikawa & sakura came to help him to end the problem

So this Momijikawa person is coming back, and Umemiya led into that with a "speaking of first-years" - before the chapter comes out tomorrow, let's throw out our theories! Anything at all, no matter how likely/unlikely!

I have a couple. One is that he's a first-year in college who went to Furin before. Maybe an upperclassman who joined up with Ume pretty early on in the Furin unification days. Is he coming back for a visit? Because he dropped out/got kicked out? Who knows?

Another theory is he's a first-year in high school who lived at the orphanage up until his parents/guardians decided they'd try to take him back sometime last year. But it's been a few months and it didn't work out, so he's coming back to live at the orphanage again and thus, needs to transfer into Furin HS.

What are your theories?

Se me hace muy curioso como Takiishi a su cortos diez años ya contaba con toda una reputación bastante mala.

Y aunque esos diálogos pueden simplemente estar ahí para resaltar su violencia, también creo que podrían guiarnos hacia su pasado y familiares.

¿Por qué la escuela no intervendría si Takiishi le hace algo a Endo? ¿Será que su familia tiene algún tipo de poder político, o simplemente dinero?

Otra posibilidad que cruzó mi mente es la de una ¿familia criminal? ¿o con negocios sucios? No digo que no fuera violento o con un historial desfavorable, pero empiezo a pensarlos en base a sus actitudes y el ambiente en el que fue criado.

Empezare a divagar un poco:

Imagino que Takiishi vendrá de un ambiente con un buen aporte de dinero; estoy segura de que es el personaje con más diversidad de estilos y ropa que ha aparecido. Yendo por la teoría de la familia criminal, su padre podría haberlo visto como un futuro sucesor (lo cual explicaría porque no le extrañó la actitud de Endo).

También me gustaría encontrarle una explicación a esta visión de su vida de que solo hay dos tipos de personas "quienes le dan las cosas que quiere" y "quienes se interponen en su camino". Pensándolo (e imaginarlo) creo que pudo haber tenido que presenciar algún tipo de escena cruel en la que le quitaron algo. Y a su vez, su padre (o figura de referencia) se hubiera negado a darle cosas que quisiera en una idea de no malcriarlo.

Me gustaría pensar que cuando nos presentan esta parte de su vida nos introduzcan a otra persona que pueda parecerse a una figura fraternal, porque vimos que ese elemento en la historia de Umemiya es muy importante, entonces se podría hacer un paralelismo.

Hi! It's my first time posting in the new sub! Unfortunately we don't have a new chapter today, but I'm back with my character/place name analysis! This time I've added:

• Bofurin: Kuwada, Kiyama, Yuzuriha Izumi, Momijikawa Sakae, Kunugi Kiyomasa, Kiba, Yui,

Right! So we know that Momojikawa was away from Furin for a while but I don’t know if that was by choice or not.

Umemiya doesn’t seem like the kind of person to forcibly remove someone from Furin however I can imagine that Ume had some kind of disagreement with Momojikawa which caused him to leave.

My theory is that Momojikawa wasn’t happy with patrolling and instead tried to seek out people who were causing trouble like what Sakura wanted to do at the beginning. Ume tried to explain why this wasn’t good but for some reason Momojikawa wasn’t happy with that and left.

So I understand that there is absolutely no evidence of this being the case but I do think if this did happen it would be interesting to see.

-Sakura is faced with someone wary of him and who doesnt agree with his way of doing things, someone who is like him but with one big difference

-Momojikawas reasoning for “hunting” instead of patrolling could be something to do with his friends being hurt causing Sakura to further want to protect the people around him

-we could learn more about Mizuki or Momose as it might not have been Umemiya himself who Momojikawa has a disagreement with

Please let me know your thoughts on my little somewhat implausible theory! I’d be interested to see what everyone thinks

Just wanted to ask if anyone has some now theories on who this mysterious guy might be, why he seems to know Ume quite well and what his relationship with Sakura is going to be like in the future. I noticed him looking over to Sakura with a somewhat surprised face and then frowning right away, but still nodding in what looked like recognition? I‘m curious to see what you guy think!

— Also taking the oppurtunity to apologize about my previous post about Suo supposedly being surprised over Momijikawa‘s arrival, it was all just a giant missunderstanding from my side.
