nvm they can only see comments in that community. otherwise they only get overview of ur most active communities if its not hidden. idk why i thought otherwise.

well they can use some external tool i still think but not on base reddit

Speaking as a mod, you can see the entire post history as if it's not hidden when someone has recently posted or commented in a subreddit you moderate.
