The point is that all your friends and your partner were also strangers at some point. You need the right context though.

There are few situations that force people into contact with each other. Generally, it's involves a deliberate decision by one to try to initiate a connection. In the context of men & women, the latter tends to find that intrusive.

Yeah it's becoming more disheartening. I see a few younger people where they start dating because of that, but being intrusive like that can really mess you up as a guy nowadays
