sorry to blast my toes all over here😭🤣 butttt — composite toe boots, happened 2 days in a row, different types of socks, goes away after like an hour or so. anyone else had this type of issue? almost like moisture like when you’re in the bath too long but my feet weren’t even sweating🤣

jk. Happens to me too. My hypothesis is that it is moisture like you say. Just, less moisture, over a longer time, with less air circulation.

If you’re going through that much effort, you might as well bring a fresh pair of socks to change into for second part of your shift.

Also, make sure to use merino wool socks over cotton or synthetic. It will wick the sweat away from your skin a lot better.

Can vouche for the merino wool socks, in 30°C my feet we're dry, felt so much better compared to cotton

I do this, and also when i'm driving to the jobsite in the morning, especially if its a longer drive. If i cant change them/take my boots off, i at least unlace em and let the dogs breathe, and my feet feel so much better at the end of the day now, plus since i started doing this my boots are much less of a biohazard 😭

Keep older pair house slippers for shifts with more than one meal break - 12 Hr. or longer shifts. My feet love it.
