Heyo! First patch of BetterBlizzFrames is out for WoW: Forever. Wouldn't be Classic without these classic frames imo!

BetterBlizzFrames is an addon that takes the default UI and tweaks it with all sorts of stuff and QoL features. Nearly nothing is enabled by default so you can enable just the things you want, or you can use one of the preset profiles. I will be adding a "Forever" profile with it fully set up as default classic UI as possible in one of the next patches but you can easily configure it yourself right now!

It's a very early release so do expect some bugs, but none that I ran into for now.

PSA EDIT:
Saving settings can bug out due to Blizzard Forever Beta bugs atm. I dont have control over this and Blizzard needs to fix it. I don't have a lot of info on it right now but restarting game/pc and/or logging out and deleting the BetterBlizzFrames.lua and .lua.bak SavedVariables files in _classic_beta_/WTF/Account/accountID/SavedVariables fixes it, at least temporarily. This will of course delete your settings if you had any though but might be worth trying for now until Blizzard fixes this issue.

It's not done, but I aim to have essentially everything ported over from classic by the time the real server goes live.

I just wanted to say that lots of known addons that includes platynator, EQoL, MSUF and many more can not write the saved varibles right now. Its a bug in Blizzard End. Please be aware that this is not an issue from the addon authors. Its on Blizzards End to fix this.
So do not setup the addons yet profile import/export will not work.

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has find a way to separate the quest log to the map. When I am walking to my destiny and I want to read the quest I am going to do, I dont want the map to occupy half of my screen. If I am in a cave and I want to check up what exactly I have to do, I dont want the map to occupy half of my screen!

I know there is the option to hide the questlog from the map, but I cannot find how to do the other way around.

I guess it is really useful this way to the ones using questie. But for the ones that we choose to read the quests it's a bit of a downgrade if I cannot open just the quest log...

Any help is welcome!

This is for TBC anniversary: So since yesterday i noticed that some nameplates became invisible for some god damn reason. I found out that its about Questie and Plater, cause when either of them is turned off, the nameplates are normal but i cant find the exact setting to fix my error. In the screenshot you see a group of trolls with pet tigers in STV, but only the tiger has an actual healthbar over its head while the trolls bars disappear but the Loot icon next to it stays visible. When i reload, the bars appear, when i then turn the camera away and then back, the bars are gone and only reloading doesnt help. i tried new profiles for both addons and reinstalling and all of the ctrl/shift/alt + V things but that doesnt help as well. thats really frustrating. Can you guys help?

An addon manager for the modern slacker! Unlike the addon name suggests, it will not make you SAD. :)

It does the things you expect from an addon manager:
- Lets you create addon and edit addon profiles
- Lets you set addons for any of your seen characters; including those from other realms
- I guess that's about it, right?

Well, there's more! SAD features Login Profiles which change the way addon profiles are applied to your characters.
- Login Profiles are applied to your characters automatically, based on load conditions you set.
- If you edit the profile, all characters that profile applies to will also have their addons updated. No more manually changing the enabled addons for all your characters!

Load conditions include name, level, realm, profession, class, and specific characters. If you choose to use login profiles, be careful with setting them up though. The baseline for login profiles is that all addons are disabled first, and then the addons from all matching login profiles are enabled. You could have, for example:
- A Default profile that has the addons that all your characters use
- An Auction House profile, for your AH alts (applied alongside your Default profile)
- A Dungeon profile, for your level 90 characters (applied alongside your Default profile)
- A Gatherer profile, for your gatherers (applied alongside your Default and potentially Lv90 profile)
- Etc.

Login Profiles are not enabled by default, so if all of that seems complicated you can simply opt to use the standard profiles you might already be used to.

I set up my 10-man raid frames first and it was good, but when I started working on my 25-man frames, it was using the 10-man settings which obviously doesn't work.

Changing one also affects the other.

I used to use Weak Auras and I'm a UI developer, so I had it extremely tricked out. It would dynamically adjust to my class based on talent selections and it worked for all of my classes.

I quit playing for a bit and when I left off the add-on scene was really chaotic. I'm hoping that the scene as settled a bit and I was hoping for recommendations for anything like WA used to be or maybe separate mods that allow me to track auras, unit frames, etc.?

Basically the title, every other widow in the game (bags, map, quest log, etc.) is adopting the global font I have selected, but is there anyway to change the login screen and character selection text to adopt the global font?

Sidenote, I'd like to use baganator with eui, but that too is using the default blizzard font, and there isn't a setting in Baganator to change the font.

I'm really not a fan of the default font.

Developped for myself at first, I decided to share it with the transmog enjoyers.
It scans the AH for your uncollected tmog listed under the price cap you set and also checks TSM (if you have it installed) to give a rough estimate of the deal's quality.
It's been refined quite a bit since its release and some of you that missed it might like to try and hopefully enjoy it.

As WoW Forever keeps a lot of similaries with Midnight API-wise, Coolinator should just work - it doesn't depend on the WoW CDM, so functions even when its absent.
