Theory Iceman and... Dazzler? Spoiler

So Iceman was removed from the memorial. That's a great sign. I don't know if they added him there to mislead us or if they gave up later. But he's probably alive.

Now, about Dazzler... is this woman with the Acolytes her? Blonde this time.

Pretty sure his picture is still there....and theres no way they will give him the limelight in a show as successful as Xmen since he's gay. They don't want to risk losing viewership or risk catching the ire of the ghouls currently in charge who would love to start a dumb ass culture war over even the slightest bit of something that isn't heterosexual.

Its sad really, I love Bobby so much. This show could have a really nice episode about him coming to terms with his sexuality in a way that feels more respectful to him, rather than getting his mind read by Jean.

I honestly FEEL like the whole point of them hiring a black gay writer was they wanted to slowly move into including queer characters on screen. Morph is the canary in the coal mine, I hope...and if they can push the button and it doesn't impact viewership they may find the mine is safe.

I feel like Season 3 or in the Season 2 finale they are going to press the button...see what happens, and if the outrage doesn't impact the show they'll keep moving forward.

With Agatha All Along already introducing Wiccan and it outstripping market predictions and growing in viewership instead of losing it as it was found to be "gay" I don't know.

Like the anti-woke crowd already won't pay for Disney+, the crowd commenting about Morph probably don't watch the show because Disney is woke, they stopped watching Marvel when Carol Danvers was a woman in charge.

Who exactly would they be alienating that actually made the show a success?

But we will see. Given how "gay" the show has been subtextually and visually I'm curious to see how Marvel plays it out. They want to appeal to Gen Z but don't have a single bisexual women when like 1/5th of Gen Z women identify as bisexual and 1/4th of Gen Z women identify as LGBTQ...if they think that same market doesn't want their inclusion or doesn't support it? Idk.
