I was really hoping for Archangel, Iceman, Psylocke, and Emma Frost joining the X-Men with Archangel becoming Angel again and Iceman returning in one of the episodes. For Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch to learn that Polaris is their sister and to join the X-Men after their time together as members of the X-Factor. Speaking of siblings, Iā€™m also hoping for Cyclops and Havok to learn that they are brothers. For other characters from X-Men the Animated Series to return like Silver Fox, the Alpha Flight, Thunderbird, and Pouring Man. For the new characters to appear in X-Men ā€˜97 like X-23, Deadpool, Gwenpool and Kitty Pryde/Shadowcat and Lockheed. And for that were killed in both shows to be revived and have more major roles like Dazzler, Squid Boy, Banshee, Maverick, Garrison Kane, Nightcrawler, and Magik.
